En fin oplevelse
Fantastisk beliggenhed, kun få meter fra stranden og tæt på centrum og mange restauranter. Små men fine værelser, dejlig udsigt. Gode faciliteter, selvom wellness afd. kunne være bedre. Venlig personale. Fin morgenmad.
3 Star Hotel with 5 Star Views
We were somewhat disappointed with our stay. Although we are in our 70's we think that we have a young outlook on life. Sadly we were surrounded by some very old people which we thought was a bit depressing. Not too keen on the food, we don't like the idea of a large number of choices, all being left on a hot plate for some time. Not very hygienic and mostly luke warm at best. On some days the food was quite good and on others pretty ordinary. Some of the staff in the restaurant needed a happy pill, especially the men. We up graded to a full sea view with a large balcony and we are glad that we did. The views were stunning, as were the sunsets. Should have added that the hotel is in a very good location, only minutes away from the main harbour.
Not bad but not brill !!
This hotel is in a very good location within the town. It has a lot of facilities, pool, gym, lounge, sun patio etc It is also clean and our room was cleaned early morning whilst we were at breakfast. Our one critism is in respect of the evening dining arrangements. It was very crowded as everyone seemed to turn up at the same time and the buffet arrangements just could not cope with the surge. this resulted in an unpleasant eating experience. This is a pity as the food, for massed produced food, wasn't too bad but would have been a lot better had it been hot. The waiting staff ladies were generally very nice and pleasant whereas the chaps were quite dull and grumpy. Sort out the eating arrangements and make the eating experience a pleasant one and this hotel could be a winner. PS do something about the bed quilts that do not fit the beds !!!
October = SAGA month!!
This was a nice hotel. However, out of season, it's taken over by Saga Holidays. We were the youngest there and felt very uncomfortable. We were starred at a lot by the older people. The activities there were for old people e.g. half an hour of 'stretching'. We didn't feel like we could stay there to eat because we kept getting starred at by everyone. It wasn't set up for young people and it wasn't the best environment for us. Over 75% of tables in the restaurant were reserved for 'saga', so we had a really poor pick of tables etc. This is definitely something which should be looked into as although it was nice, the atmosphere wasn't great. The reception staff weren't too willing to help us in booking excursions cause that's not what their usual 'clientele' are looking for. It was clean and tidy though. The pool area was great. The indoor hot tubs had children in and it didn’t smell clean. They should definitely say ‘no under 15s’.
Stayed at meteor in August and I think it’s a fantastic hotel! The staff were great and very welcoming. Booked a side sea room and the view was beautiful. The hotel is in the middle of absolutely everything and you won’t struggle to find somewhere to eat. You can easily find excursions to do as they are advertised all along the strip. The only downside to the hotel is that the breakfast buffet wasn’t great and by the time you had chosen your food and sat down it was cold.
