Fantastic find, beautiful beeches

Fantastic place to stay, pool downstairs, rooftop plunge pool and sunbathing area. Great breakfast (bring you're own tomato sauce) . Lovely historic town, you can hop on the ferry for a few Euros and be in Spain in 10 minutes. DO explore the beaches and the amazing seafood restaurant at Beech Verdi. Wish I was there right now

The perfect haven for exploring Eastern Algarve

Beautifully restored Pombaline building on the main square of Vila Real. Interiors designed with taste and imagination. Excellent tapas and pizzas in the pousada’s restaurant. Attentive, helpful and professional staff. What’s not to like?

Charming Small Hotel In Santa Antonio

My wife and I spent one night here on a trip through Spain and Portugal. This small city was a perfect respite from the larger places we had been visiting. This Pousada is not the classic historic building but is still charming and not cookie cutter. The best thing about this property are the staff. Each member with whom we interacted were warm and friendly but professional and efficient. The only small niggles were parking which requires a short walk and the busyness at breakfast. Otherwise it's a nice place to stay.

Centrally Placed Boutique Hotel

Modern boutique hotel in very central location. Staff are very helpful and welcome drink was lovely touch. Breakfast was excellent buffet style with hot options. Room was immaculate and bed was comfortable. Plenty of plugs and good wifi. Room was small with no balcony for a superior room so quite expensive for what it was.

Excellent Stay!

Our stay at the Pousada Vilo Real de Santo Antonio was perfect. A newly opened hotel with super cool interior design and excellent service. The spotless hotel is located in the main plaza of the village and has 2 little pools. We had a corner room with a lot of natural light and all amenities. The young and energetic team working here made our 6-night stay worth while. Vanessa - very professional and on the ball Raquel - energetic and a contagious smile Mariana - super sweet and understanding There was also Deborah and the guys who were always alert to our needs. We will definitely be visiting another Pousada very soon! Keep it up!
