Ok, men kunne være bedre

Beliggenhed er lige overfor stranden, strandhåndklæder er med i prisen,men ikke solsenge på stranden, det var da lidt underligt. Solsengene burde være med i deal. Vi fik værelse med sidekik til havet,indretning var ok. Under morgenmaden oplevede vi,at blive tilsidesat af damen,der styrede morgenmaden. To tyske par,som sad ved siden af, fik æg, men det gjorde vi ikke og hun har heller ikke spurgt os om vi vil have noget mere. Næste dag heller ingen æg til os,og jeg gik ud i køkkenet for at bede om æg. De blev så serveret med utilfreds ansigt. Hun snakkede aldrig med os og hilst heller ikke,men for de to tyske par ændrede adfærden sig fuldstændig. Så min pointe er,at man skal behandle gæsterne ens,så ingen føler sig overset. Vi kunne hellere ikke lide udvalget til morgenmaden og måden,den var organiseret på.

not what we were expecting

Stayed 3 nights in September Location was good, short walk to harbour, downtown; balcony overlooking the small beach, the road in front was the main route for tour buses to the parking lot by the harbour, so quite busy and noisy and a chorus of horns if anyone got in their way. The apartment was huge – separate bedroom, large sitting area with dining room and basic kitchen, good size balcony looking on to the beach. Everything very dark and well worn, questionable whether furniture was antique or just old. Floor tiles cracked and broken – we had to cover one area with a towel to prevent tripping over broken tiles. Kitchen had all the equipment but all ancient and not very appealing. For such a large apartment the bathroom was tiny – the tiles in the shower stained, the caulking black with mildew and no storage whatsoever. We never did encounter a staff person although they were quick to respond via text; we asked for a shower curtain and it appeared the next day. We were expecting something more luxurious for a short stay; this is better suited for a longer stay beach holiday.

Great apartment and location

Situated directly on the beach just on the edge of the town. Handy to sunbathe and swim and loads of great restaurants and bars nearby. The apartment itself was Cretan in style, dark wood and beautiful tiles with more modern communal areas. Popi on hand most mornings for tips and advice also does breakfasts at an extra cost. All in all a great fortnight.

A beautiful surprise in an idylic town

This hotel has all the charm of the authentic old greek style with a modern standard. We had a wonderful chamber with a balcony right on the bay. Entering we were welcome by a lovely architecture and the old tiles of a magnifiscent floor. We spent a best of times and if the wide windows-doors were equipes with mosquito nets I would give it the maximal note. In this hotel you are inmersed in the greek town with greek people to garantee you a full inmersion in this Cretan adorable town. Bravi!!! Congratulations!!!

Such a beautiful place

Lovely suite on the beach,clean and elegant.The view is amazing!in the evening you can sit on the balcony overlooking the sea,just above a lively bar..it feels like going out even if you're in your pjs.Our baby slept peacefully in the bedroom-the noise of the street was not in issue.You do hear however the sound of the waves during the night-which is so peacefull!
