fantastic holiday in a superb hotel, modern and very clean, beautiful location, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff, nothing was a problem to them. Breakfast was continental with a couple of hot options, lots of choice and fresh bread daily. Excellent location in old town of Makarska, looking forward to going next year

Makarska Marvel

Sadly we were only able to stay one night at this fabulous hotel. It is right in the front with lovely views of the marina and at the back you are in the old part of the town. Lovely decor and amenities including bathrobes, water, and the usual tea (and black tea not herbal), and coffee facilities but most importantly a very comfortable bed in which to sleep. And a shower with strong water pressure Breakfast was buffet style but freshly made eggs to order. And Prosecco for breakfast. Champion. We were able to park our car directly opposite the hotel and use one of this daily €20 passes. We were advised on arrival that the bar behind the restaurant played loud music. We heard it very faintly when we came back to the room after dinner but it didn’t stop us sleeping or wake us up at all We were told

Top accommodation and delightful stay!

Top accommodation and delightful stay! This Hotel is at top location in Makarska, on the city promenade with newly renovated modern rooms and comfortable bed. The beautiful modern interior of the very clean room with a touch of luxury is amazing. You will find lovely little mini set of Rituals cosmetics in the beautiful bathroom (details that make a big difference 😊). A short walk to restaurants and the beach from the hotel. Lively bar is right outside the hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful and always at your service. We had a breakfast at the hotel's restaurant Cvit soli, at nice mediterranean terrace with great food and top service. We would recommend a room with a sea view overlooking the harbor. We highly recommend this hotel and hope we will be back soon!

We had an amazing stay at this fantastic accommodation in an excellent location. It truly felt like home away from home! The place exceeded our expectations with its cozy atmosphere, stylish decor, and all the necessary amenities. The location was perfect, allowing us easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay. 5 stars all the way! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The most exquisite place

My partner and I stayed at the Hotel Porin for a week. It exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect, nestled in the middle of the harbour area / old town, which, as we learned during the week, is the most idyllic spot in the whole of Makarska. From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. The hotel receptionist was extremely attentive and even spotted it was our birthdays during the week, arranging for a bottle of prosecco and some cheesecake to our surprise. She even went to great lengths to ensure we visited the best restaurants and got the correct ferry over to Hvar for a day trip. The rooms are recently refurbished and immaculate. The decor and the fixtures are really nice. We would highly recommend a room with a sea view overlooking the harbour and if you can afford it, room 8 with its private balcony and hot tub. We rarely re-visit places but my partner and I both agreed we would definitely come back some time. The hotel has the most curb appeal of all the hotels in this location with the Biokovo mountains providing a stunning backdrop. We would have no hesitation recommending this place to anyone.
