Reserverede oprindeligt på Green Garden Villas gennem James Villas. Gik med til at flytte, på grund af et vist administrativt problem, en måned før ferien skulle begynde. Sikke en ferie vi havde!!! Ankom sent, kl. 01.00 om natten, fik tilbudt drinks og brug af spa. Lige fra starten blev vi behandlet som respekterede gamle venner, intet var for besværligt for personalet. De syntes at foregribe alle vores behov. Morgenmaden var en kulinarisk nydelse, altid fremragende varme og kolde retter, serveret af den meget opmærksomme Jorge. Frugter, blomster og champagne var behagelige overraskelser, som blev leveret på vores værelse. Et adapter-stik dukkede op på mystisk vis, da et medlem af personalet bemærkede, at vi manglede sådan et til noget lægeligt udstyr. Hele stedet var skinnende rent og den indre og ydre indretning uovertruffen. Haverne var perfekte, og der var altid noget anderledes rundt om hvert hjørne. Spaen var en fornøjelse, vi har alle været i hver dag, meget afslappende. Vores pool var bare perfekt, ligeledes var den udendørs balkon og møbler. Ja, vi var på "den frygtede gade". Der skulle mere til end en tilfældig forbipasserende bil eller bus for at aflede opmærksomheden fra denne villa (Luna). Villaerne var indrettet med henblik på at sikre deres beboeres fred. Jeg kunne fortsætte med at rose dette sted, men har virkelig ikke lyst til at tiltrække for megen opmærksomhed omkring det. Vi vil muligvis få svært ved at få en reservation til næste år. Paradis for bryllupsrejsende.
What a shame!
Booked a villa last year and after a couple of months paid to upgrade. We booked for spring time bit due to covid moved it to September. Reservations were pretty unwilling and reluctant to change. We lost our upgrade even though cheaper season. I have been in touch as we rebooked for September but everything has been so uncertain. I asked to move to march. I was told yet another 450 to move it . A special favour but really sarcastic with dozens of exclamation marks. So unprofessional. I had asked for the general managers email. No reply. Our flight has now been cancelled. I need some communication from them. I have prepaid everything. No reply!! So I do not want to Rebooj and pay yet more when they can't be bothered to be polite or reply.
My wife and I stayed here with our 1 year old daughter for a night in July. We were spending a couple of weeks in Tenerife and decided to try out a few of the Adeje hotels in view of choosing somewhere to stay when we return in September with more family members. We booked the hotel on the morning of our stay and got off to the perfect start as we received a reply email to a few questions we had regarding the villa within a few minutes. We checked in around 4pm and were met at the front gate of the property with a friendly welcome. As soon as you walk into the hotel grounds, you really get the feeling that you have come somewhere special. The architecture and the infinity pool are really something to behold. We were guided to reception to complete the check-in process where the staff were all wearing masks and hand sanitiser was readily available. The gentleman at reception was friendly and informative. A very nice touch was a warm welcome from the hotel manager Fiona. She is clearly delighted to see customers back in her hotel after the recent hard times. She assured us that safety is the number one priority and that if there was anything the staff could do for us or the baby, just to let them know. We were taken to our villa which was a few minutes walk away from reception. The hotel is very accessible with ramps leading to the villas for pushchairs/wheelchairs. Our reaction when we entered the villa was one of awe. The decor is truly beautiful and highly unique. We have stayed in many of the 5 star hotels on the island and there really is nowhere else like it. Each villa has it's own heated, private pool which was a good size. The terrace area was lovely and included a balinese bed and table with chairs. Our villa was called a Gran Duchess and we were delighted at how spacious it was. Also included are all the amenities a couple or family would require for a comfortable and care free stay including a fully equipped kitchen. I will also add that the villa was impeccably clean. We decided to eat at the hotel restaurant in the evening as we didn't want to leave our beautiful villa for too long! We booked to eat at 9pm hoping that our daughter would happily sleep in her pram while we ate (Well past her bedtime!) Well... She had other ideas. As soon as we walked into the restaurant she woke up crying. The restaurant was not busy at all but we were still a little embarrassed to be interrupting the diners who were there trying to enjoy a quiet meal. Thankfully, the staff were fantastic and made us feel at ease. She calmed down very quickly and happily sat in a high chair the lovely waiter brought over for her. He chatted to us about his own young daughter and the service he provided throughout the meal was brilliant. The maitre d was also very accommodating and friendly. I would like to add that every member of staff wore masks at all times and there was hand sanitiser to use before entering the restaurant. Clearly the health regulations are being taken very seriously. The food was fantastic quality and very tasty. We would certainly eat here again. The restaurant itself is a great space. A lot of hard work has gone into the design/decor which is again, very unique and unusual. Breakfast was included in our stay. We were offered various time slots at check-in so that the dining room doesn't become too busy in the morning. Social distancing was easily achieved and again, masks and sanitiser are the norm. The breakfast was a self-service buffet. There was disposable gloves for everyone to use and a one way system was in place. The food was good quality but If we were to nit pick slightly, perhaps more selection could be offered. The manager Fiona spoke with us again before we checked out to ensure that we had a good stay. We certainly did! If you are looking for a luxurious, serene and completely relaxed getaway in Tenerife, this is the place for you. The hotel is spotlessly clean with all virus prevention methods in place. We felt very safe during our stay. We will be back :)
Everything was more than perfect!
I went there for 6 nights with my girlfriend and whole experience was more than perfect. Very friendly and helpful staff, very clean rooms, high quality food both in morning buffet and in a la carte restaurant ( lunch or dinner ). In two words, PERFECT HOSPITALITY!!
Luxury stay in Duchess villa
Spent 7 night break booked through Secret Escapes which was good value. Lovely villa and very friendly staff. The overall ambience is similar to a Riad in Marrakesh and very attractive. We would have liked advance information to assist our arrival in the dark about accessing the parking garage which is the other side of the hotel from reception . Nowhere to park at reception entrance which is very discreet and easy to miss. The hotel provides valet parking once you have found the reception. Good spa (steam room but no sauna) and the communal pool area is high class. Contrary to previous review in The Telegraph, we found the breakfast choice and quality first rate so the manager has clearly improved things. Dinner is quite formal and rather expensive but food and service are excellent. As the menu did not change daily we made use of excellent restaurants in La Caleta as well where the location provides great sunset views as a bonus and just 5 minute drive away. Too far to walk particularly in darkness so hire at really essential at this hotel.
