An absolute diamond!
This hotel was perfect for us. It is small and quiet. All the staff are attentive and friendly. The place is very stylish and spotlessly clean. The loungers around the pool are so comfortable. We spent some time around the pool. I would recommend the Bramble on the cocktail menu. The location is about 5-10 minute walk from the main shopping street, about 10 minute walk to the beach or the harbour. We thoroughly enjoyed our run around the harbour and fort each morning. You need to work up an appetite before breakfast as there is so much delicious food on offer. We had dinner at the hotel a few times. A fixed price for a buffet. Some excellent dishes. You can go to a spa at the sister hotel, but I had a massage in a curtained booth in the garden, excellent. We went with friends and were given ground floor rooms next to each other. This was very thoughtful as our outside spaces were adjoining and we could sit together. The rooms are lovely. There is a separate living area. Fridge, tea/coffee, welcome pack. Bath towels and beach/pool towels are provided. The shower is excellent. On the last day we checked out of the hotel at midday, but stayed until the evening. There is shower and changing facilities available which made our last day very comfortable. I would love to go again.
Just returned from a week at the diamond boutique and it was fantastic. Me and my partner did not want to leave. Everything about this hotel is finished with a perfect little touch. From checking in to checking out. Checked in around 7 in the evening and was greeted with a drink and someone to help take my partners case to our room. Went straight for a drink in the bar after dropping out luggage off and straight away the bar staff were talking to us and been very friendly. We went half board and on our first visit to the restaurant the head waiter/chef walked us round the food explaining what was what. The food was very good especially the breakfast. Plenty of choice and always a chef cooking different kinds of omelettes, eggs etc. The rooms were spacious and kept very clean ( every day we had clean towels and bedding ) the cleaners did a fantastic job and were always on the go through the day and always smiled and said hello. The pool area was spotless and the sun beds really were fantastic. The best we’ve had. We’ve paid 5 euros a day for beds like that in other hotels. The bar staff were very friendly and make you feel welcome. Also remembered our drinks from day one. Cosmopolitan and corona 👍🏻 All these nice little touches made our stay here even more fantastic. Thanks for a brilliant relaxing week.
A week away in KOS in mid October 2019
We stayed in the Diamond boutique hotel for one week with our daughter. The three of us have a truly fantastic time in this hostel. We think that the service and the facilities deserve five star rating as the breakfacst buffet was a great start to the day. The pool and the sunbeds are the best we have ever sat on. During a holiday based around the pool. The staff are are a real asset to the hotel from housekeeping to reception. Greetings from the team really start the holiday well as you immideatlybfeel very special and welcome. A very efficient check in and a welcomed cool drink was a provided. Rooms all have a bottle of red wine with a small welcome pack which contains fruit, this was a nice touch.
Small but perfectly formed
A very relaxing place for adults to enjoy a quiet holiday. The hotel, rooms and gardens are very well presented and the staff were amazing; friendly and incredibly hard working. There is a nice pool, bar and restaurant but, it's a small hotel so no gym and nothing much in the way of entertainment (not necessarily a bad thing). It's a bit of a trek walking into Kos town - about a mile to the centre (harbour) but well worth it; there really is something for everyone. It's even further to get to the quieter beaches so we hired a couple of bikes (and found it cheaper to do this via the hotel reception, about £20 each for a week) which were a perfect way to get around the mostly flat streets. There are lots of cycle lanes too. The food was very good. Lots of variety with something different cooked fresh on the grill each night. It never felt busy when we were there (end of September). There were plenty of comfortable beds and sun loungers around the pool and it was never noisy. Perfect.
Lovely relaxing place to stay with wonderful staff
We have just returned from a week at this hotel and had a lovely time. The room was modern and comfortable and kept spotlessly clean by daily maid service. Only criticisms are lack of full hanging space, shortage of drawers and only one English TV channel, but not really a problem. The pool area is well designed and very comfortable. Waiter service for drinks from the bar and also snack bar for lunch. I would suggest they offer a lighter option for lunch as breakfast is so generous that a large lunch is not needed! We ate in the restaurant twice and found it excellent value at 20E each, with lots of choice and all food freshly prepared. Breakfast offered lots of choice from lighter continental options (lots of fresh fruit!) to a full English. The staff are a credit to the hotel from Costas and the restaurant staff to the reception staff to Phillipos and the bar staff. All were quick to smile, very helpful, efficient and very good company. The walk into town takes about 15 minutes to the harbour, but it is well worth going up to the Old Town for restaurants and shops and it is a great place to spend the evening. I also recommend a day trip by boat to Bodrum (Tuesday is market day) which takes about 30 minutes each way. This is a smaller hotel but has all the facilities we needed and the service was as good if not better than may five star hotels. I would not hesitate to recommend it or to go back.
