Fresh hotel with a good location

Had a great stay at Vila Kalcuni! Fulfilled our expectations. Very nice view, pretty surroundings and a great sunset by the beach. Coming from Finland we were not impressed by the breakfast, and the pillows were not comfy. Although good service, and the staff was friendly! A good parking for the rental car. Would definitely return.

Beautiful Hotel right on the Beach (and the best pool!)

Wonderful Hotel on the rocky beach. Near the Ferry and a close walk to downtown and many excellent restaurants. The pool deck and bar was excellent. Great breakfast with room. Great staff. TONA was the receptionist and concierge. She recommended great outings.

Just book and go!

Excellent location, just few steps from Saranda ferry terminal, in a quiet street with lots of shops, bars, restaurants, mini markets, tour agencies, ATMs, money exchange and so on. Few minutes walking to main city promenade. Very attentive and helpful staff, quiet surroundings (I slept with balcony doors open and wasn´t bothered by anything). Perfectly clean premises, inside and outside the room. Full breakfast with quality goods. Enjoyed a lot! And the view... ah the view... I could stay there forever! Be aware that there are some feline residents and even some turtles walking around. Felt like in a big fancy beach house. It doesn´t have that hotel atmosphere, very welcoming and charming. I didn´t use but there is a parking lot and an amazing pool. Really glad I choose this hotel for my vacation. Tks Vila Kalcuny team, you were great!

Beautiful location

This hotel / Villa is very very new, they were finishing the touches when we arrive I think the location is perfect and it’s boutique. We loved it. We took a boat trip to the coast on Sarandë and this was magical. We would recommend this hotel to families

Could be nice but, no.

There are many good things about this place but their policies make it bad: Check in - They upsold us a better room via email and then when we arrived, it would not be available for the first of our 4 nights. Upgrade? No, we were downgraded to a standard room and paid the normal price. No comp, no apology. Backwards! Private Beach - It’s not beach and it’s not private. There is no sand, just rocks. And it’s open to every one from Sarande. Good luck finding a lounge and umbrella. And then there are the loud children. Breakfast - Food’s ok, but there was seldom much variety. Then, they don’t open until 8:30 so that’s when everyone arrives. It’s crowded and noisy. When the tour buses are there, there are no seats so you rush your breakfast to free up the seat. Pool - The website says that the pool would be open in May. As you can see from my picture, I don’t think they will be swimming until August at the earliest. Parking - They have about 7 actual on site spots open for guests. Do the math, not good. Rules - Check out the picture of their rules they have for food in the rooms. Is this a joke? Check out - There are no signs to warn you but they will hit you with a surcharge to use your credit card. Nice place, but the management needs to review the policies to keep from angering the guests.
