Happy with hotel
We enjoyed are hotel it was really clean and comfortable. We stayed at 3rd floor having a pool view and 3 times we had entertainment once guy with guitar on Friday was DJ and later a band but really had people dancing so we enjoyed it on our balcony. We did half board so had breakfast and late dinner from 19:30 didnt have it everyday but not bad. Thank you for not disappointing us.
Dream vacation in Alcudia
We traveled a lot, and we do have an image what good service needs to look like, i can honestly say that kt exceeded all our expectations. We reserved a room named Loft, it was big and it had all kinds of amenities, if you wished to have all your meals in the room, you had the space to store and heat stuff up. The shower, balcony, and living area were spacious, i also loved that the room design was really cool. The entire setup of the hotel is cool and hip and has a lot to offer, We were half boarding during our stay,so we had dinner and breakfast at the hotel. The variety of food options as well as the quality was exquisite. I had excellent churros, sushi, steak, wafers, porkchops, and fresh fruit during or stay. Excelent choice of food and great chefs. We will return to this hotel. This is certain.
Beautiful hotel very clean and very friendly staff. We got upgraded to a suite and it was beautiful. Free minibar topped up each day. Everything provided comfortable and spacious able to sit out on the balcony at night and enjoy entertainment. Great hotel for all ages and kids. Kids club is brilliant my daughter went every day and the staff are lovely. Also kids club activities fri/sat night. Really good vibe hotel on Main Street but very peaceful at night. Lovely views from rooms wether at back or front of hotel. Really beautiful smell when walking around hotel like a spa scent. Highly recommend will be back to stay.
Expected much better
This is a very strange hotel. The lobby is beautiful and misleads you into thinking you are at a 5* resort. Unfortunately, there were several things that added up to a poor experience. After check in, we were directed to an extremely cramped set of rickety elevators that would not be out of place in a flat built in the 1970s. This poses a huge challenge if you have luggage. We had to take 3 trips to get upstairs with just 2 adults, a baby, and minimal luggage. We got to the room late at night only to discover two maintenance issues: 1) The room was absolutely freezing as the AC was stuck at the lowest thermostat setting. The electrician informed us that due to a fault, the AC could only be permanently switched on or off through the main fuse box. The rest of my week consisted of making several trips to the fuse box to ensure the room was neither swelteringly hot nor freezing cold. 2) The bathroom sink was clogged when we checked in and we had to call the maintenance team to unclog it. Another minor inconvenience was that the hotel has the Do Not Disturb and Please Clean the Room signs permanently fixed outside the door. Each time, we put up the Do Not Disturb sign, someone from outside used to change this to Please Clean the Room leading to staff showing up when we did not want to be disturbed. All of this was unfortunate because overall, our sea-view room was extremely spacious and clean with modern fittings and a huge balcony. The hotel has no parking. You will need to rely on street parking, which is free but not easy to get. Depending on your luck, you may need to circle the block a few times until you find a spot to park. The biggest disappointment was the dining room, which felt like a factory conveyor belt. The quantity of food available is immense. The quality is immensely disappointing. We stayed 4 nights and each night the food was consistently poor. Moreover, the serving plates and glasses were absolutely filthy. At breakfast, 95% of the "clean" coffee mugs next to the coffee machine had stains or food particles on them (see attached pic). Same with the "clean" plates, most of which had food particles or stains on them. Moreover, the staff at the dining room are a bit disingenuous. At breakfast, water is free. At dinner, water is charged - something you need to figure out the hard way as they conveniently don't bother to tell you. The property itself is well landscaped and consists of 3 pools, including one for babies. There is also a kids play area alongside organized kids activities although most of these were directed to older, Spanish-speaking kids. Overall, this hotel could be very good but appears to be quite poorly managed. Definitely not returning.
I could not recommend this hotel enough! Everything about the hotel was perfect, great location only 5 min walk to a lovely promenade - ( can walk all along the prom to the Port of Alcudia) lots of nice restaurants and shops close by too. Our room was so nice the loft with pool view, and was cleaned every day, the staff were so nice and helpful, and the food was lovely for breakfast with a great choice on offer. There is a restaurant too where you can get a lovely choice of options and there was music in the evenings, Myself and partner enjoyed our stay so much, thank you Innside by Melia!!
