Wij hadden een geweldige tijd. Niet alleen de kamers waren hartstikke mooi, maar omdat het zo klein schalig is is het personeel super betrokken met je. Wij hebben zoiets nog niet mee gemaakt dat ze zo gast vriendelijk waren. Aanrader dit! Ze hebben een prachtige spa beneden het restaurant voor een goeie massage met leuke deals.

Прекрасный отель! У нас была вилла со своим бассейном, удивило что бассейн был такой большой. Очень дружелюбный персонал, уборка была каждый день. Отель расположен близко к пляжу (~5 минут пешком). На территории отеля очень спокойная и расслабляющая атмосфера. Еще в отеле есть отличный Spa.

Highly recommended

We stayed here for our second visit this July having stayed for the same week last year and loved it so much we wanted to return. The resort is so peaceful and immaculately tended to it was an easy decision to return this year. We chose the room with private pool option again this year and although there was a minor problem with our room shower the staff were quick to involve the manager and we were moved to another room within an hour of reporting the issue. I celebrated my birthday whilst at the resort and was treated to a lovely birthday cake to go with the bottle of wine we were given during the room move. Special mention goes to Michael who looked after us at breakfast times and Kelly and Stella who were always cheerful and attentive bar managers. The location is so close to the beach you can hear the waves lapping the shore. The airport is very close by and planes land and take off over the hotel but we did not have any issue with this. The main Kalamki strip is a 5 minute walk and has many fantastic restaurants and bars. The Osasis bar is elevated and is adorned with greenery. They are a very friendly couple who own/run and it makes an excellent base for sipping cocktails when deciding on where to eat. We hired quads on 2x occasions for 2x days at a time to get around the island. We would highly recommend a visit to Keri lighthouse viewing point and there is a restaurant to watch the sun set if you go later in the day. In summary, the resort, staff and facilities are fabulous and we would recommend it to any couples looking for peace and tranquility with entertainment available a short walk away. Highly recommended.

A 5 star rating from us and well deserved.

Where to begin. We had a villa with pool worth every penny. Could do with an umbrella with the sun beds as it is full on during the day and at 38 degrees was too hot to lie out. Having said that with only 20 rooms and the most fantastic pool by the bar area with beautiful padded sun beds and shade, which was fairly empty you are not short of options. The cleaning staff were discreet. Noticed when you went out and spotlessly cleaned the rooms. In fact the whole hotel was spotless. Breakfast is in the restaurant. A good selection off a menu. More than you can eat. Fresh orange juice poured freely. The owner was very hands on too. All the staff are just so friendly especially Kelly at the bar. The sandy beach is 2 minutes walk away. Would give this 6 stars if it wasn’t on a flight path. It is close to the airport. There is a no fly zone at night. We would be happy to go back so can’t have bothered us that much.

Relaxing holiday destination

We spent a glorious 14 days in the Golden Sun Spa resort, utter bliss! We were made to feel special from arrival to departure! A special mention for Kelly the bartender, her knowledge of the area was first class, friendliness, service, all excellent. She makes every guest feel special. Breakfast was served every day by Michael and Maria, nothing was a bother, lovely food served fresh daily, there’s no such thing as a ‘ small’ portion. Our room, private pool made the holiday even more special, totally & utterly relaxing, just what we needed. We will definitely be returning, hotel & local restaurants and bars excellent, plenty of choice, cannot fault anything about our holiday!
