Spot on KB Ammos !

Just returned from a wonderful stay at The KB Ammos Suites….our immaculate, modern, air conditioned room had a large comfortable bed with lovely quality bedding! The modern bathroom had a spacious walk in, powerful shower, the room had a terrace with patio table & chairs, a private whirlpool & overlooked the very private, pretty gardens. The light & airy breakfast room offered plenty of hot and cold choices, with a variation most days. We never found a problem getting sun beds around the pool, there is a pool bar serving a wide range of drinks and delicious cocktails & you are served at your sun bed by the very attentive bar man. We found all the staff at the hotel very pleasant and extremely helpful. I would say the hotel was absolutely spot on, other than I myself missed having a full length mirror when getting ready on an evening & I guess for a such a quality hotel, I was a tad disappointed tea/ coffee making facilities are not supplied as standard, (though I was aware of this from previous reviews before booking) however, we were able to hire a kettle from the hotel for an additional supplement & I had took sachets of my favourite coffee with me. Located between bus stop 4 & 5 the hotel itself is only a 3 minute walk to Megali ammos Beach, where there is a great selection of bars and restaurants…including ‘Cafe del Mar’ serving the best cocktails ever and ‘Siferi’ a very authentic open air Greek taverna, amazing food & service & the best Moussaka we’ve tried anywhere! This was our first visit to Skiathos, we have loved our stay on this beautiful picturesque island and we look forward to returning again very soon.

Can't wit to return

We had the most amazing time at kbammos, we had one of the rooms on the first floor and it was exceptional, very spacious and a huge balcony looking towards the sea. The wonderful ladies who cleaned our room did the most amazing job but this is reflected by all the staff, so caring and considerate you feel like you are leaving friends behind when you go home. The hotel is beautiful, the location perfect, skiathos is a gem but the staff at kbammos are the real stars here. Thankyou to everyone for making our holiday so special.

A hidden gem!

Stunning hotel! This is a fabulous hotel. We were welcomed with a glass of fizz on arrival which was a lovely gesture. The whole hotel was spotless. Room was a very high standard with an outdoor hot tub, which we enjoyed one afternoon. Stelios chilled a bottle of prosecco from the bar and served it to us in the hot tub. Stellios was fantastic, constatly taking food and drink orders from the sunbeds. No sun bed wars, sometimes had the pool to ourselves. Great choice of freshly cooked hot and cold food at breakfast. All staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Exceptional hotel with exceptional staff

An excellent hotel with exceptional staff. Location is spot on with easy access to the beach at Megali Ammos and an easy 15 minute walk into town. Rooms are spotless and fairly well equipped. Many of the rooms have a wonderful outside seating area with their own plunge pool/jacuzzi. Breakfasts are splendid with plenty of choice and made better by the super friendly staff. Lovely pool and pool area although you pay for privacy and security by having a limited view. For balance, but don't let this put you off, here are the few negatives. There were sunbed wars and because we had to walk past reception with our towels we were stopped from reserving beds, whilst others circumvented the reception and were able to put their towels down. That said, we rarely missed getting a sunbed. The bar shuts early - but more negatively, it opens late (12 midday). Some people complained about the bar shutting early, but I get it - the customers around the pool get a better night sleep. All in all, this is a fantastic hotel.

A Hidden Gem

Return visit to this hotel and what a welcome we received, Huge thanks to Christina - you were right about the room. Stelios for getting me lovley wine to drink, and to the staff in the breakfast room, outstanding nothing was too much trouble, Anastasia how your English has improved well done, and thanks for making the best cappuccino in the morning., we even got to catch up with the lovely Olga who was covering a few shifts. Last but not least the fantastic mother& daughter in housekeeping who kept our room spotless. Just booked again for next year see you all then.
