Fantastisk charmerende hotel

Hotellet var super skønt og virkelig charmerende i ægte græsk stil. Det lå dejlig tæt på en super skøn og bred strand. Personalet i både morgenmadsbuffeten og receptionen var også meget serviceminded og behjælpelige. Så hvis man har spørgsmål skal man endelig ikke holde sig tilbage. Morgenmadsbuffeten var relativ lille, men det udvalg der var, var så til gengæld lækkert og af god kvalitet. Vi var også positivt overrasket over de flotte store værelser og rengøringen af dem, der fandt sted hver dag. Det eneste minus ved stedet (og måske byen generelt) var at det var lokaliseret i en relativ lille by og lå lidt meget afsides fra resten af øens byer. Så hvis man vil opleve noget på øen er man altså tvunget til at leje eget køretøj. Samtidig skal man også være obs på, at der kan være rigtig meget vind på stedet, da stranden jo som bekendt også er favorit blandt surfere. Hvis lidt vind og en lille hyggelig stille by ikke genere en, så er det dog et ideelt sted at slappe af og nyde den græske kultur på et fantastisk hotel.

Buona sistemazione.

Semplice hotel a due stelle che mi ha offerto una buona camera sufficientemente ampia, tranquilla con balcone e vista mare laterale, giardino con piscina e parcheggio, la colazione e' piuttosto modesta, accoglienza e servizio gentili, supermercato di fronte all'hotel e la discreta taverna Stelios a due passi. la spiaggia di fronte e' molto disturbata da numerosi kite surfer per cui e' preferibile spostarsi un km a sud sulla bella spiaggia di Mikri Vigla poco affollata ma con lettini molto cari, cosi' come e' eccessivo il prezzo dell'hotel che e' comunque un due stelle, ma Naxos e' decisamente diventata piu' cara rispetto qualche anno fa.

Great for kiters

Great location for kiters. Unfortunately, getting any answers out of them before we arrived. was like pulling teeth. Even to confirm that they got our booking required 3 separate inquiries. The rooms were nice and quiet and spacious. Firm mattress. Great blackout curtains. The fridge in the room did not have a mini freezer in it. Breakfast was overall pretty good. Kontos restaurant across the street was not good. (As far as the food goes). Disappointing. The restaurant on site was good, but not a great view. Great yoga nearby (Vasiliki).

Relaxing, chilled stay - served it’s purpose.

Very enjoyable stay Island hopping around the Cyclades and stopped off at Naxos. 3 night relaxing stay - clean and comfortable accommodation. Lay by the pool and also visited the long stretch of sandy beach. Good fun travelling inter island by ferry. Starting point Mykonos and final destination Santorini.

Chilled vibe - more shady areas required

We loved the vibe of this hotel right next to the kite surfing shop which also does lovely food and drinks. Our room had a curvy flint stones feel to it and the views and sunsets were stunning from our balcony. More storage in the bathroom is needed as this room is essentially a wet room and even the toilet and loo roll gets wet. Really comfy beds and room was refreshed daily. Staff are relaxed and friendly, breakfast was lovely. (Nut milk as an alternative to cows milk would have been good - only cows milk available) The seating areas are accessible all day and the hotel don’t mind at all if you bring in food from other places to eat (the souvlaki from Kontos across the road is worth a try & super cheap) The pool is lovely with comfortable enough sun loungers, no umbrellas are available but we found shade under the trees, it just meant we were moving our stuff around a lot. A few umbrellas would be useful. The beach is stunning and has much more room and less touristy than nearby Plaka but sunloungers and umbrellas are sparse. You will have to buy your own umbrella for shade. TIP ABOUT CAR HIRE - we asked the hotel about hiring a car and they best they could do was a basic car for 140 euros for one day or 240 euros for 2 days. We walked up to the car rental shop up the road (turn left from the hotel & walk up road for about 3 mins) and we got a car for 50 euros for 24 hrs. RECOMMENDATIONS - Victoria cafe is truly lovely, we went at sunset for pizza and it was the nicest pizza I’ve had in a long time. The view is beautiful, chilled music and great if you have little ones as there is a play park in the dunes. Chalki is a nice village to visit with some cute little shops and cafes. We had a crepe in cafe Grecco which was gorgeous We also visited the old derelict hotel in Alyko which has some amazing graffiti, there are some gorgeous little quiet beaches to swim in there too.
