Good value

friendly staff, fantastic breakfast, but…. Hotel is located in front of a road that can be noisy. Rooms in the front have great views but noisy. Rooms on the back are more quiet but hot. Lots of mosquitoes so best to sleep with A/C. Latex mattresses are comfy but hot.

Fantastic

This was our second visit to the wonderful Alinda Hotel. Due to Covid we weren't even sure we would get here but the hotel made our stay even more special under the circumstances. Because of the view over Alinda Bay and towards the castle we pre-booked a sea view room and weren't disappointed. The room wasn't the biggest but the view is so great that didn't matter to us! Anastasia greeted us warmly and although we were very early showed us to our room straight away. The room was extremely clean and was kept that way by the housekeeping team. This is an older hotel with great charm and this is reflected by the care and attention of the staff. A cheery greeting every morning at breakfast from everyone and little personal touches that you just don't get at larger hotels. Anastasia remembered that I had frappe with my breakfast and how I like it without asking! Incredible breakfasts with a huge choice. Can't be beaten!!

Second time around

I stayed in June 2019 and decided on a repeat stay during the unusual summer of 2020. A warm welcome from Anastasia who remembered that I’d stayed before. It really is nice to referred to by your first name on arrival and throughout my 3 day stay. This year was slightly different of course, COVID meant that staff wore masks or visors and cleaning regimes were followed. Guests, on the whole, wore face coverings whilst passing through communal areas. Last year I occupied the generously sized room 15 and so room 13, although sharing the same wonderful view, felt more compact. This was of no real consequence as a solo traveler, but I can image how couples may prefer the extra space afforded in room 15. The shower room too was compact but adequate and there was always hot water. Breakfast was as ever superb and the shady terrace overlooking the bay, a nice place to start the day. The staff team were helpful and friendly, ordering a taxi for my transfer to Xirocampos. A lovely short stay, would be happy to return.

Great place

I was only to stay 3 nights, but stayed 20 nights. A corner room with an amazing view. The hotel was build in the 1950s , it’s simple but very nice. It’s not a 5 star luxury hotel, but it’s a very relaxing place. The breakfast is fresh and very good . Real coffee, real orange juice, fresh bread And eggs any style. Swimming is just across the road, excellent swimming.

Welcoming happy staff

Found a warm welcome, with very helpful staff, checking all details were correct. Very relaxing atmosphere with lovely traditional greek food, delicious!have stayed before, and will definitely return as it was so easy and calm. Covid precautions excellent with thorough cleaning after service in restaurant. Rooms just right, with lovely views. Well done,see you next year!
