A friendly peaceful hotel

Our second visit to Lesvos, but first to Anaxos. >Arrived in Anaxos around 2pm and was dropped off at the top of the lane. Lakis was there to meet us and showed us to our room, helping us with our luggage. Its just a minute or two walk. >We had room 5 at the back of the hotel, which looked over Lakis's vegetable garden with mountains in the distance. It was beautifully peaceful, with hens scratching around and kittens playing. >The room was small with a double bed, a tiny kitchen area with a 2 ring hob, kettle and sink. There was cutlery and crockery for two, glasses and a couple of saucepans. We didn't cook or eat in the room, so the lack of space wasn't a problem for us. >Room was kept clean, beds and towels changed regularly. Bed was very firm, but we got used to it and slept well. >AC worked well, and costs extra. >Shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. >Lovely pool area with plenty of sunbeds and shades, no sunbed wars here! >Lakis makes a great Harvey Wallbanger and an even better Pina Colada, and the food is very good, I'm missing his Greek Salads, and he would often sit and chat with us before taking our order. >The beach is just a few minutes walk down the lane, and sunbeds are free if you eat/drink at their taverna. >If you're after a peaceful relaxing no frills traditional Greek holiday Lakis Studios are the perfect base.

Another great holiday!

We loved staying here last year so much that we decided to come back again this year. Lakis and his family are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are cleaned every day and we had fresh towels and bedding twice a week. We upgraded this year to one of the rooms by the pool at the front. It was lovely being able to sit outside our room and have breakfast etc. We had our own sun-loungers too. The resort of Anaxos is so relaxing and the people we met last year at the supermarkets and restaurants remembered us. We hired a quad bike and a car and visited the places we enjoyed last year and some new ones like the temple of Aphrodite, the aqueduct and the monastery. The meals both at Lakis and the restaurants are delicious and very reasonably priced. Thank you to Lakis and his family, we really enjoyed our holiday. 😊

Lovely friendly place

Second stay at Lakis and as expected everything was good. I booked a direct access room this time and it was perfect being able to just walk out of my room onto the pool area. Beach is just down the lane where you can get sunbeds etc they are free if you are buying drinks etc from the tavernas. There's a little tourist road train for which you can get a hop on hop off ticket for the day it's goes to Petra and all the way up to the castle at Molivos and back. Anaxos itself is small but really friendly. Petra just a taxi ride away has more shops and bars if you want a bit more hustle and bustle. Back at Lakis the bar serves snacks etc all at reasonable prices. Lakis and his wife run the place and are very efficient . Looking forward to my visit next year.

Breakfast

Visited a couple of times during our stay in Anaxos and had a great experience. We came just for breakfast, the owner was friendly, the service was great and the food was good. There was a great pool available to use and most importantly… plenty of shade. Fair price - recommended.

Fantastic Two Week Stay at Lakis Studios

Typical simple Greek holiday studio that was on the small side but suited our needs perfectly. They are very tidy and cleaned daily. The bedding and towels changed twice a week and good quality. The shower always had plenty of hot water in the evening. The a/c worked well and was much needed as we were there during the heatwave. The owner, Lakis is very friendly and helpful. The location is great and very quiet. They are located on a side road just off the main pedestrianised street with lots of bars, shops and restaurants. The nearest beach is about 5 minutes walk. We had a fantastic two week stay and have booked again for next year
