Blandet oplevelse

Udover utrolig venlig personale og høj standard er hygiejne og renlighed, er der ikke noget særligt. Sengene var for hårde at sove på. Møbler og tæppe trænger til udskiftning. Vi blev placeret på 1. Sal med udsigt til et hustag, så Apollo rejse bureau blev kontaktet, men ikke hjælp. Receptionist kom til undsætning, da vi har betalt for havudsigt, og vi fik et andet værelse. Morgenmaden var nogenlunde,og personalet render rundt som sindssyge for at behage gæsterne. Det ville forbedre deres forhold, hvis gæsterne srlv kunne hente bestik, samt hvis der var et bord, hvor gæsterne selv kunne lægge det brugte service. Der var få gæster som overholdt corona restriktioner, resten har ikke engang sprittet hænder inden de benyttede buffet. Svømmebassin skal man helst holde sig væk fra. Der var 2 polske familier med små børn som har indvaderet området omkring bassinet. Vi andre kunne ikke nyde det, da børnene skreg og larmede hele tiden, mens forældrene legede med deres smartphones. Ingen overholdt reglementet. Det var forbudt at lege, hoppe og dykke i bassinet. Folk havde gået ind i vandet direkte fra deres svedige sko. Ingen tog brusebad forinden. Der er overvågning og reception burde holde mere øjne med evt. vagt. En anden familie med lille baby har kastet håndklæder på både liggestole og ved cafestolene, så vi andre ikke kunne være der. Jeg smed håndklæderne væk fra stolene, og blev verbalt overfuset af familiens mormor, for hun har "reserveret" stolene til deres baby, da der var skygge. Man kunne ikke være nogen steder uden hovmodige frækheder. Magen til frækhed skal man lede længe efter. Det var ikke bedre på omkringliggende strand. Liggestole skulle man leje, 50kr stykket, men andre badegæster har indvaderet området omkring, så vi har badet ved hotel Jadran. Deres gæster skal IKKE betale for liggestole og parasol, det er dejlig strand men de lokale invaderer stranden efter kl. 17. og smider sig på de liggestole som gæsterne forlader. Det er diskriminerende over os andre turister som betaler 80kr for en liggestol. Jeg vil aldrig komme igen, medmindre disse forhold bliver forbedret.

Varm anbefaling - en af de bedste steder vi overnattede i Kroatien - vi kom faktisk tilbage igen:-)

Fantastisk beliggenhed, vi havde værelse med med både havudsigt og udsigt til bjergene. En fantastisk solnedgang. Overdækket parkering og fantastisk nærværende personale. Varm anbefaling herfra :-) Knap så godt, som ikke er hotellets skyld: At andre gæster "reserverer" solsenge ved poolen med deres håndklæder uden at være der.

Couple on vacation

So, me and my fiancé ordered a two week vacation here. The facilities were great, location was great, but there's always a 'but'. One of the receptionists, and the hotel manager, was more then enough to give this hotel a negative review. The one receptionist was rude to us on several occations, the hotel manager was a lying, money grabbing piece of human whom you wouldn't want to meet or experience during your summer holiday. At checkout, he tried to hustle me with making threats of calling the local police when I refused to pay 500 Kunas (~70 Euros) for an allegedly stain of wine on one of the carpets of our room. I had prepared my own list of unfulfilled services during our stay (including the one female receptionist, whom I will not go into further details about, just trust me on this one), but then he hid from me beyond the reception, and when I responded to him like; "Yeah, let's get the police to come here! Should I perhaps make the call to them for you?", my better and smarter half managed to stealthy provide her payment card to their terminal, ending the whole dispute. My end point is that this hotel "manager" is an absolute AH, caring only of himself, not the tourists who are coming to stay there, paying 4.000 Euros beforehand. Stay away. Find one of the smaller, cozier hotels in Tucepi, they seemed much better :)

Hvala😊nice room,no 407. Clean,big balcony and nice view . 14 days with excellent service from all. Would like to thank Evelin in the breakfast service especially. Keep up the good work. We would like to recommend this hotel if going to the Makarska riviera. Its perfect placed in middle ot the center,close to bus,taxi,restaurants and beaches. Also easy to visit the neighbour towns Podgora and Makarska either by foot,taxi or bus. We have had a GREAT stay after corona "lock down" was fantastic with two weeks in "freedom" at such a great place. Hvala from Bent and Nina🇩🇰🇧🇻 Dobre dan👋😊

Hotel Laurentum for the Win!

This is the second time I’ve stayed at Hotel Laurentum. Just like my first stay, this past one was excellent. Traveling during Covid has stressful bits but there was no stress here. Corresponding, via email, with the staff about reservations was easy. I arrived earlier than the normal check in time and they allowed me to check right in. The room was spotless and deep cleaned for Covid. Every staff member I came in contact with was kind, helpful and comfortable speaking to me in English. Evelyn was especially great. The breakfast was really good. Coffee, tea, a selection of breads, cheeses, meats, fruit, cereals (hot and cold), juices, yogurt, sausages, bacon and three different kinds of eggs. Everything was fresh and tasty. The grounds of this hotel are beautiful. From the outdoor patio areas, to the flowers, to the pool area…all are very well kept. The pool isn’t big but it’s a good size for cooling off. The lounge chairs are nice and you can get fresh pool towels each day. If you’re traveling with kids this is a good option. The staff is friendly and they have several games that families can borrow. There’s a small bistro at the foot of the hotel that serves solid food. It’s nothing fancy but it’s got good selections and the service is great. Again, Evelyn is really great. You can sit inside or outside. It’s a good people watching spot. You can’t beat the location. There is a bank, pharmacy, market, money exchange and gelato stand within 100 feet. It’s steps from the sea, restaurants, a playground, the marina and a gorgeous promenade. Make sure to get a room with a balcony. It’s worth it! I can’t say enough about both of my experiences at Hotel Laurentum. I will definitely stay again when back in Croatia.
