Fantastic Family and Friends week spent there

Our family spent 6 nights at the Fairfield by Marriott in Calangute and had a lovely holiday there. We were meeting friends there who also stayed at the hotel and were there in a large group of 5 adults and 5 kids. The highlights of our stay was the amount of time we spent in the swimming pool and also the sumptuous buffet breakfast which was a big hit every single day. The staff in the hotel were absolutely outstanding and embodied great service in their every task. In particular, I would like to mention the following few who went out of their way to make sure we had a fantastic time: In the restaurant, Mousumi, Ruthi and Ajit were extra engaged with us and our kids and make sure we were well taken care of, be it coffee orders at Breakfast or recommending dishes to order, especially since our kids were not used to eating spicy food. They were extremely flexible with all the requests we had and acted quickly to execute them. From the kitchen, the Chef Provash kept coming over to check on us and ask feedback about the meals he prepped and Filema (who was serving the chocolate crepes at breakfast), made sure we were always well stocked - making her a favourite for our kids :-). With the kids recreation, Sadashiva did a phenomenal job of engaging with the kids, be it playing Frisbee and catch with them in the pool, or foosball in the kids camp room. He is also a very effective swimming coach and taught our 4 year old how to swim in a matter of 2 lessons. This was much appreciated and also made the holiday for the parents much more relaxing and fruitful. His supporting team member by the pool was also very helpful and encouraging with the kids and was happy to arrange for extra toys, balls and frisbees at their request. All in all it was a perfect holiday with a lot of great things to say about the property, which was clean, spacious and tidy. It was also close to nice restaurants such as Niche bistro, walkable to St. Alex Church where we heard Palm Sunday mass and a 15 min drive to Calangute town and good restaurants on the beach. If i had one recommendation for improvement, it would be the training of the front desk staff. A lot of them seemed to be new on the job and were not able to completely solve issues with the room keys being reset or needing reactivation. This was a minor inconvenience and did not taint our stay, but it would have probably been easily solved by better communication or having someone who knew how the keys work, what to tell guests about not keeping the keys close to their mobiles, etc. Even through this small issue we faced, our overall guest relations Manager Mansi was on point to communicate with us and our friends and made sure that these issues were solved quickly. She took extra trouble to visit the guests at breakfast and make sure everything was alright during our stay. We really appreciated this. We would definitely recommend this property for family holidays. The Staff made it extra special and made us want to return even more.

A must visit Hotel in Goa a perfect defination of Hospitality

stayed in Room 637; This was my second stay Excellent Location , Good value for the money you pay. The staff at the hotel are excellent. It's the staff which is the USP of the hotel. Deepak ,Sakshi and Ajit from the restaurant were excellent very proactive attending not just to us but every table at the restaurant and pool side. The room attendant Suratram was also very kind and did a fabulous job in cleaning the room was always smilling abd helpful. Shivam who was in Vallet parking was very proactive helpful and also always smilling. Pragil abd Mohit from front desk went the extra mile on checking on our stay daily. Also gacecus a good room with a view. Chef Yogender and Chef Provash again awent the extra mile and served us some good options for Breakfast . Chef Yogender was excellent on catering to special needs during Breakfast. I recommend this hotel to all as it's a perfect defination of Hospitality. 3 staff besides all mentioned who are Stars at the Hotel are Pragil from front desk Deepak from FNB Chef Yogender from Kitchen

Good value for money hotel

Management went over and above to make our stay enjoyable. The rooms were very nice and the food was excellent . The dinner and breakfast had so many choices on their buffet . We were bed and breakfast so we paid for our dinner which was excellent value for money
