Lovely hotel and lovely staff

We booked direct with the hotel and got a good rate. Bed and breakfast. We were given a room on the top level over looking the sea and harbour which was super. The room was simply furnished but fine for us . Pool area was very nice and breakfast choices very good. It is a lovely level walk into the small town which was just charming. Lots of lovely restaurants easily walkable.and it is easy to catch a bus to the lovely beaches. Would love to go back one day. On one of our morning walks we found a lovely cafe over looking the sea with wonderful fresh orange juice. Far side of the port up the white steps to the church. Stunning views across the sea.

Not a 4* hotel

I stayed in this hotel with my family for 1 week during the first week of August and I paid 120 euro/night. I would summarize my experience as below: Pros: - Location: The hotel has an excellent location. It is very close to the center and the harbour and everything is within walking distance. Very close there are some nice restaurants and a beach, therefore you can enjoy yourself even during the last day of your stay. Moreover, the rooms offer nice views in the sea and the city. - Staff: The staff was polite and helpful and someone was always available 24/7. - Dinner: The dinner in the hotel was nice and I enjoyed the food. Cons: - Luggage help: there is noone to carry your baggage, which should not be the case for a 4* hotel. - Breakfast: the breakfast has limited variety. It is being served till 11:00, but twice we went around 10:30 am and noone was renewing the food. Therefore, if you go late your choices will be even more limited. Moreover, some things are not always fresh. For example, butter croissants were served two days in a row, but the second day they were not fresh (they were even burned in the bottom - obviously due to reheating). - Hot/cold water: The temperature of the water in the shower is not consistent. During the shower suddenly very hot water came and it was really burning. All the family members faced this issue and it was really annoying. - Wi-Fi: Amazing that during 2022 we should mention wifi in the review. The wifi is not stable and you cannot rely on it. Most of the times the browsing speed was low. - Pool: The pool is small and not deep, therefore do not expect to have a proper swim there. Overall, the hotel has a nice location, but the quality of service was not what I expected from a 4* hotel.

Mediocre Hotel with rude staff.

Hotel was a little dated and could do with some refurbishment. Pool area has a number of open wires from previous light fittings. Location is very good with some really excellent views. Breakfast was adequate but could be improved. Staff were generally ok, but one or two were particularly unhelpful and rude.

Clean, gentle staff, good breakfast

Privileged position in the port away from the big noise. Check in very smooth and all public areas very clean. Room spacious with view to Skopelos from its own balcony equipped with furniture. Very comfortable mattress and fresh bed lines. Towels very clean, many tv channels. Daily housekeeping just perfect! Breakfast served in convinience place. Many choices from cheese, ham, pies, toasts, yogurt, honey, bacon, sausage etc. Very clean buffet. The only positive is the pies and croissants which not cooked according to product's guidance. Overall, a good excerience and higly recommended !
