Fabulous Hotel with Great Staff x

Just checked out of this lovely hotel x Staff all very friendly and made you feel very welcome x shout out to Yanis , Christina , Angelo and our lovely cleaner x All areas were spotless, pool was clean and sun beds were super comfy x Even during storm Daniel staff worked tirelessly to keep everything going and made sure our stay was wonderful x Easy to catch the bus to Skiathos for 2 Euros Hired a Quad for a few days which Angelo kindly organised x We got lots of tips for restaurants etc from Yanis who was very tentative at the bar I would recommend Hermes Hotel to anyone x

Lovely hotel and friendly staff

Just got back from a week at Hermes. We had a fabulous holiday. We’d read the reviews before we went so knew that some of the rooms were only partly refurbished, and indeed our room was one of the “older rooms” - the bedrooms had been modernised and were lovely, the rest had not been upgraded but it was still perfectly clean and had everything we needed. We had a 2 bed apartment and it was lovely and spacious with a great ground floor terrace which we used lots. The pool area was lovely. There’s only a few beds and there were a few times there wasn’t any beds left to use but usually there were points throughout the day where we could get a bed if we wanted one. This wasn’t an issue for us as we went to the local beaches and out around the island. The breakfast was lovely - yes, quite basic but all tasty and fresh and some different cakes and things each day. Staff were super lovely and friendly, especially with our 3 year old. The hotel is up a very steep hill (it seems most in skiathos are) which could be an issue for anyone with mobility issues but wasn’t an issue for us. We had a car which was great as there’s not loads of tavernas in walking distance - a few are nearby but the road is busy so for us, with a 3 year old, it was great having a car. There’s some fabulous tavernas in nearby Troulos - we loved Jasteri, Villa Rosa and Ratatouille. We also ate lunch once and dinner once at the hotel and the food was really nice. All in all, a lovely holiday and we’d definitely go back to Hermes!

Lush two weeks

Spent a fabulous two weeks in the hermes hotel from the minute we arrived we where made to feel welcome and part of the family. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean on arrival and cleaned every day throughout our stay. Breakfast was a good selection of continental cooked breakfast selection of fresh fruits bread and yogurts .The hermes hotel is run by a well organised team who are all helpful and friendly and set out to make your hoilday special. Angelo the owner was very helpful with an problems and very knowledgeable of the local area. Yannis and Katherine were friendly and always had time for a chat in the evening .Absolutely stunning place would definitely stay again.

A lovely quiet hotel near to links to the island

The location is excellent - half way down the bus route between Skiathos town and Koukanaries beach The best balance of feeling that your hotel was ‘home’ but happy to recommend other places to eat or visit. Genuinely a lovely island anyway but apart from a steep drive the perfect hotel Thank you

Fabulous friendly hotel

This was our first trip to Skiathos and we couldn't have picked a better hotel to stay in. The atmosphere is very chilled around the pool and the sunbeds are so comfortable. The room was very spacious maybe in need of a little touch up but nothing major. The whole hotel is extremely clean and the ladies doing the cleaning work so hard. The bar and dining area are great. The range of food at breakfast was plentiful and there was definitely something for everyone. We ate there a night a couples of times and the food was just gorgeous. Christina and the lady (sorry never got her name) who worked during the day worked non stop and are so friendly. At night Yannis looked after the bar and he is brilliant he really added fun to our holiday. The hotel is close to some beautiful beaches and only 20 mins on the bus to Skiathos town which is lively. There is a hill up to the hotel which we had previously read about but it isn't that bad unless you struggle walking. We absolutely loved our time at Hermes and can't wait to go back again
