Hyggeligt familiedrevet hotel.

Har været 14 dage på hotellet med veninde. Det er et rigtigt hyggeligt familiedrevet hotel. Der er hvad man har brug for. Lækkert morgenmad. Man kan købe snack og aftensmad på hotellet som er lækkert. Der er liv om aftenen og hygge. Alt i alt en god ferie.

God service av dei ansatte, litt oppussing trengst.

Meget godt mottak av resepsjon, og oppfølging, restauranten sine ansatte, var veldig serviceinnstilt, enkel frokost, men god, Det vart 4 middager den uka, og maten var meget god, mange som var innom Gorillas place iløpet av dagen. Rommet var ok og rent ved ankomst, vask/rydding kvar dag av serviceinnstilt vaskedame, som også fekk sine drinks. toalett m dusj var lite (ikkje noke problem), dette rommet kunne ha fått seg ei oppgradering. til å ha 2 stjerner var dette hotellet bra, var rimeleg i perioden eg var der, for dei som vil ha ett enkelt opphald, så anbefaler eg opphald.

Rat in Svea hotel room

Terrible experience we had in this hotel. A rat was found by my teenage daughter in the bathroom, where she was stuck for a while, as she was frightened to open the door to let the rat escape in the bedroom. My girl was terrified, the rat was jumping on her jogging shoes, in cosmetic bag (resulted throwing away all the contents), on the toilet paper. When my daughter managed to call a hotel assistant, the rat was killed in the bathroom. When I asked to talk to the receptionist, and it took 15 minutes for someone to come. I was told that rat was killed and what else do I want. I asked for a new room, but nothing was available. Then I asked should not the place be disinfected after the rat was everywhere. The hotel manager was not very enthusiastic, helpful or service oriented and said that they are busy right now, so we need to wait. He acted as I annoy him. My girls were understandably scared to continue to sleep in the room, frightened of further rats, they kept the light on at night for the rest of the holiday. A day after the incident my daughters was sick whole day with stomach problems which could have been connected to the events due to the infection or stress. We are very disappointed by the lack of service and understanding from Apollo representatives, who claim that it is normal! to find rats, mice and other animals in your room on holiday; and its our problem that we decided to throw the content of toilet bag. Beside that, the hotel elevator was keep stopping between flours, shaking and would not move; breakfast was boring; you need to pay for an air conditioner 9 euro a day per room, so if you are a family of four the price doubles, because there are no family rooms just doubles; and for a decent beach you need to walk to 15-20 minutes, where two beds and an umbrella costs 15-20 euro. On my opinion this hotel should not be offer by travel operators.

Amazing experience. Highly recommend Svea hotel.

This hotel is really ideally located: literally 5 minutes away from the beach and a Hop on Hop off sightseeing bus stop, next to lots of shops, cafes, 15 minutes away on foot from the beautiful port of Rhodes. Moreover, it has its own restaurant where you can eat and drink 24/7. You never feel lonely in this hotel. The district is very bright, upbeat and feels safe even at night. The staff is truly remarkable. It is a family run hotel and I really felt welcome. They even got my room ready a couple of hours before the check-in time and offered a free welcome drink of my choice from their bar) They also gave me a present when I checked out. I would definitely stay here again. Amazing!)

Great little hotel

Only an overnight stay here but what a welcome! Lovely and helpful staff, pleasant clean room, and two free drinks from the bar! Breakfast was included in the price and again the staff were super friendly. Couldn’t fault it .. thank you 🙏
