Ingen sandstrand men store sten, stadig fantastisk.
Wonderful this year as well
Every year I come to this hotel and this year in particular I got treated like a queen by staying in their luxurious superior double room. The room includes a big comfy double bed, a desk (perfect to work from), spacious living room and bathroom and lovely balcony overlooking olive trees. The room also includes a coffee maker with capsules and a tea maker with teas. The hotel is always at his best: - the best breakfast I had in Greece (so many types of sweet and savory fresh pastries and jams) that you can have in their beautiful terrace overlooking the garden. The breakfast includes a great variety of choice including usually two types of eggs (sunny side up and scrambled), sausages, bacon, mushrooms, vegetables and fruits. They have gluten free options and vegan options (including plant milk) - big pool overlooking the Taverna and the sea (perfect because sheltered from the wind if it's a windy day) - fantastic taverna with great food selection and sea view, so well known that locals come to eat there too. Trust vassilis advice for the cocktails, he knows what he's doing - beautiful rocky sea which is a perfect snorkelling spot: I regularly see octopuses and colourful fishes, coral and algae just 2-3 metres from the coast! The hotel is a 15-20 minutes enjoyable walk from the town: first you walk seeing the sunset and the sea, then the illuminated castle and finally pass by the alonia forest. Very nice. If you don't like walking, you can rent a scooter or a car at very cheap prices compared with the rest of Greece or my natal Italy.
Hotel Gem
Been back from staying at the Aphrodite for a couple of days now and miss it,think the hotel and staff are first class and would go back again, everytnig about the hotel was good the only drawback is the distance from molyvos and we had to get taxis every night into there, would not walk it as its to far and the road i think is dangerous to walk along, lucky we managed to share taxis going in but not coming back, and although its not dear it still cost us over 80 euros for a week. When we booked the hotel it wa.s running a minibus which has since packed up i think the hotel needs to invest in another one even if they charge a couple of euros each time. But despite that its still a great hotel and cannot fault the staff at all they were all helpfull
Little Paradise
This beautiful hotel is run by a super hospitable family who really go out of their way to pamper their customers. No show, but the cozy and honest Greek hospitality. Beautiful surroundings, a bit remote, and right on the sea( with a large private bay). Large comfort rooms, very clean and top hygiëne, beautiful swimming pool with luxury sunbeds, very tasty meals for little money, a few kilometers from beautiful Molivos, and not at least : super friendly staff. Do you understand why I call this Little Paradise ? Family Jacobs-Goessens 19 aug- 02 september 2022
Excellent hotel, highly recommended
We are just back from 12 days in Lesvos. We were thoroughly impressed with this fantastic hotel. The staff are helpful and friendly, the hotel is spotlessly clean, rooms are comfortable and spacious. The pool is gorgeous, with comfy recliners and mature palm trees for shade. The taverna is lovely and overlooks the shore/beach and a perfect spot to witness some incredible sunsets. Although the beach isn’t sandy, the sea is calm and beautifully clear and a nice place to hang out and snorkel from. We hired tennis rackets and played ‘for as long as we liked’ for 10 euros. I was nervous about the hotel being a little way out of Molyvos but this is actually to it’s credit. Molyvos is a gorgeous town, but it’s nice to be located slightly away from the busyness of the town. A car is an advantage but the taxi service looked reliable. The breakfasts are fantastic, so much choice and it is well stocked through service. We thoroughly recommend staying here.
