Au premier abord, le lieu semble tellement sympathique et accueillant que l’on a envie d’y croire. Malheureusement dès que l’on prend possession de sa chambre, qui plus est quand la chambre donne côté rue, la magie du premier instant disparaît. Et l’on se rend compte que l’endroit est sale, la literie inconfortable, la climatisation très bruyante et dormir la fenêtre ouverte n’est pas vraiment le meilleur choix. La circulation y est dense et génère un bruit permanent. Mais la déception ne s’arrête pas au pas de porte de la chambre. Quand vient l’heure du petit déjeuner, la pauvreté du buffet ne met pas en appétit si l’on souhaite déjeuner à la française. Peu de possibilités de varier les plaisirs, un seul et unique thé, 2 choix de confiture, les fruits sont insipides ( pastèque et melon sans goût, le raisin acide ), aucune viennoiserie, et se faire griller une tranche de pain est mission impossible. Le matériel mis à disposition chauffe à peine et tous les matins c’est le même parcours du combattant. Quant à la restauration du soir, même combat, rien ne vous met en appétit, et toutes consommations prises vous sont facturées jusqu’à la bouteille d’eau. ( la fontaine du matin étant bâchée, seule solution s’est d’acheter une bouteille) . Il n’y a rien de surprenant de voir que la salle est désespérément désertique tous les jours. Pour information le service s’achève à 21:30 et à 21h les employés commencent en partie à éteindre les lumières. On a du mal à comprendre que des voyagistes proposent un tel produit.

A true reflection of the hotel....

Was placed in the hotel due to flight cancellation by EasyJet. Rooms were basic, and dirty. Some others on our flight reported bed bugs and other insects in their rooms, some had dirty and blood stained sheets and others had water leaking through the ceiling. Walls so thin you could hear conversation in other rooms. Breakfast and Lunch was provided, but the food was truly awful, leaving me feeling ill for the rest of the day. Makes you wonder if they provide better food for actual paying customers, rather than those stuck there due to EasyJet cancellations. Only positive, the swimming pool...

Value for money peaceful stay, with very nice staff

Had an overnight stay here due to an EasyJet flight was cancelled. We found it clean and comfortable. The staff were very polite and attentive. The facilities were everything you need for quiet peaceful stay. It’s great for couples and singles with great access to Paphos centre and beach. Bus stop very close to hotel so you can travel throughout the Paphos region easily if you didn’t want to drive. We had stayed here this week at a 4*+ in Chloraka and to be quite honest wished we had found this hotel as the peace was lovely and to be honest the facilities at our hotel that we booked were supposedly 4*+ and we found here just as good. It depends on what you want . As they you get what you pay for and I would have most certainly felt I got more for my money staying here than where we booked. We will definitely look at returning later in the year for a couples peaceful stay

True review of Veronica hotel

We had the misfortune to be put up in this ( 2 star at best) hotel for one night due to the cancellation of our EasyJet flight. The accommodation was extremely basic ( think 1970s youth hostel) with mouldy and extremely dated bathroom/bedroom. The beds were so bad we got no sleep at all. The food was extremely basic we decided to eat outside the hotel. Staff members were very rude and completely unhelpful. The only good thing about this hotel is a decent swimming pool. If your looking at this hotel then I suggest you look elsewhere to avoid a huge disappointment!!

Run Down, Dirty Hostel Type Room

We were ‘PUT’ in here by easyJet after our flight was delayed for 24 hours. We walked past a pack of Cats that were running up trees. We got into the room which looked like a dirty youth hostel. The only three stars this property has were outside. The bathroom had black mould growing in the shower. I moved the bed cover and to my horror some of the sheet was moving. We left and handed the keys in, the ‘receptionist?’ She just shrugged, not bothering to even ask why. We contacted easyJet and were told it was emergency accommodation which was suitable. I have chronic heart disease and do not and would never, sleep in a dirty, rundown room. We booked a 5*, fully inclusive hotel but were treated very poorly indeed. EasyJet staff cut me off about 5 times and should be ashamed at the way they treated us. black
