Je reserve toujours mes vacances en fonction des commentaires sur tripadvisor je pensais donc que cette hotel allait être exceptionnel et la grosse deception! La seul chose positive de cette hôtel est que les chambres sont neuves et très belle. Pour le negatif : L animation dans l hotel est inexistante autant en journée qu en soirée ! Apart la rue qui est un peu animée il n y a strictement rien autour Aucun bar sur la plage si vous voulez boire il faut retourner dans l hotel et la il faut aller au miserable bar amelia car l autre est payant Les barmans pas sympathique du tout ni les gens en général dans ce pays d ailleur Le sol autour des piscines est tres sales et jamais nettoyé ! Important à préciser si vous avez une petite faim a 16h il faut aller dans la rue passer 2 batiments pour aller au restaurant ! Et le soir apd 23h des pauvres sandwich sont à dispo rien de plus les gateaux en vitrine sont pour les ultra all inclusive je n ai jamais vu ça de toutes ma vie!! Concernant le restaurant principale : les plats sont toujours les memes la viande in mangeable dur et seche, les oeufs trop cuit, et le reste c est toujours pareil pdt carotte riz dans le coin bbq! Sans parler des insectes dans les kellogs du matin ou du vers dans mes pates !!! Et le soit disant cuisiner qui va au toilette avec ses gants bleu et meme fumer dans la terasse du bas et reviens derriere les founeaux comme si de rien était !! Cette hotel est vraiment a fuir les commentaires positif sont ceux des residents du pays qui viennent juste quelques jours et qui ne connaissent rien d autre! Je me demande meme comment il a pu obtenir 5* je ne lui en donne meme pas 2 Vraiment passez votre chemin car croyez moi vous allez etre vraiment deçu

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Sehr leckeres Frühstücksbuffet und das Abendessen (auch Buffet) war reichhaltig .. alles herzlichst zubereitet inkl. frischen Obst und Gemüse. Die Zimmer waren glatte 5***** , sehr freundliches, geschultes Personal, das ganze Team toll ist - vom Hotelmanager bis Rezeption, Housekeeping, Restaurant ---> man merkt, hier ist der Kunde noch im Mittelpunkt und Gast , vielen Dank. Das war unsere erste Reise nach Bulgarien , wir werden nächstes Jahr wieder kommen Beste Grüße aus Hamburg ... macht weiter so !! Ralf

Our vacation was originally booked at Hotel Gergana, but we were informed via Booking that we had been relocated to Maritim Hotel Amelia. Because of this, we arrived without particular expectations and allowed the experience to unfold naturally. We booked the Ultra All Inclusive package, which included: • Three main meals per day, plus access to the lobby bar with two excellent bartenders who were both professional and friendly. The bar also offered ice cream and cakes. • Access to outdoor pools and a “mini aqua park” with two slides. The hotel is part of a two-hotel complex, so the pools were located behind the other building, only about a one-minute walk away. The rooftop pool is reserved for guests staying on the 7th and 8th floors (VIP rooms). For all others, access is available at an additional cost of 50 leva/day. • Themed dinners every two days (“wine and pasta,” “seafood,” “Bulgarian food”), while breakfast remained the same daily. • Access to a clean, Blue Flag-certified beach with fine sand and a smooth entrance into the sea. • Minibar and coffee/tea facilities (Nespresso capsules and tea bags), restocked daily with one Pepsi, water, one small orange juice, and one canned beer. • A 10 leva discount voucher for a 25-minute massage at the spa. • One bicycle per guest. Areas for improvement: • The welcome champagne, although present, was not offered at check-in. • Reception staff did not have sufficient English skills for the hospitality industry. • We felt a difference in treatment, possibly due to our young age (around 21). No one presented the room or hotel facilities to us, the champagne was not offered, and information about our package was neither provided at check-in nor in the room. We had to ask for it ourselves. • The restaurant bar service was inconsistent; unlike other guests who were offered drinks at their table, we had to approach the bar ourselves. • At check-out, there was confusion about whether lunch was included on the departure day. Initially, we were told it was included, then told otherwise, and only after showing the official paper did staff confirm it was indeed included. • Double beds were only available in VIP rooms; all other rooms had two single beds pushed together. • Drinks at the restaurant bar did not always match the Ultra All Inclusive list. • The indoor pool belongs to the other hotel in the complex. • The printed information about the package was only available in German. Positive aspects: • Excellent cleanliness, both inside and outside the hotel. • Very good and diverse food, with vegan options available. • Access to the lobby bar even after check-out, until the final lunch. • Prompt service for hygiene kits (vanity kit, dental kit, etc.) requested via reception and delivered by room service. • Short walking distance to the beach (approx. 2 minutes). • Two exceptional bartenders, David and Pino, who made our stay more enjoyable and we we had a great time with them as well. • Live music during dinner. • Two restaurant terraces – one for smokers and one for non-smokers. • Variety of cakes, though quality could be improved. • Beautiful natural surroundings. • Short distance to other attractions in the resort (mini golf, shops, bazaar, etc.). Conclusion: Maritim Hotel Amelia meets some 5-star standards, but communication is an issue unless you speak German or are proactive in asking for information. Staff professionalism could be improved, while other aspects come down to personal preference.

Far from Expectations Albena is a beautiful area surrounded by forests, with a comfortable sandy beach and a warm, gentle sea. Its close proximity to Bucharest and Chisinau makes it even more attractive for short getaways. Hotel Maritim Amelia is a recently built property, very well designed and equipped — high quality of the sanitary fixtures, beds, linens, and pillows, to the overall beautiful interior design. A lot of investment clearly went into creating this hotel. I stayed here for four years in a row and kept coming back because it was confortable as a distance to come, pleasant, clean, and the included services were of very high quality. However, in 2025, the quality of services has noticeably declined. The crisis can definitely be felt… The staff is unqualified, and cost-cutting is evident in absolutely everything — including the quality of the food. Our stay at this hotel, unfortunately, turned into a series of disappointments. The reception staff were unfriendly and unwelcoming, which is the opposite of what you expect from hospitality. From the very beginning, the poor cleaning standards were hard to ignore: bed linen was partial changed, sanitary spaces were not cleaned properly. This completely ruined any sense of comfort. The food was repetitive and lacked variety, with no creativity or freshness. Good coffee and tea were simply nowhere to be found. Only 1 bottle of water for 4 people. The swimming pool was far from clean. The paid sunbeds on the beach were also dirty and poorly maintained. The hotel grounds left an even worse impression: dry vegetation, burnt grass that was never watered, and an overall feeling of neglect rather than a vibrant holiday atmosphere. I sincerely hope that management takes these concerns seriously and makes improvements so future guests won’t face the same disappointment.

Was there in june and had no expectations whatsoever and at first was surprised with nice room, helpful staff and diverse meals offer. However what no one will tell you is that: - early checkin is for extra 25 eur. - you book a check out breakfast pacakge two days in advance and on last day they tell you your room is not on the list Internet can be slow sometimes with huge delay. What i liked was ice cream, drinks and friendly staff, but who might forget your request lol.
