Fantastisk

Der er to bygninger og vi fik et rum i bygningen 2 længst væk fra pool området. Når vi sad på altanen kunne vi høre høns og heste om morgen- meget idyllisk synes vi da vi bor i støjende by område. Om aften kunne vi høre musik fra de nærliggende hoteller - vi sang med. Sådan er det når man tager på ferie - nye lyde. Når vi lukkede den lyd isoleret dør var der absolut stilhed. Ingen naboer- ingen høns - ingen musik kunne vi høre. Vi var MEGET imponeret over hvor god den dør var og hvor meget støj den fjernede. Vi havde ørepropper med, men dem brugte vi slet ikke. Vi havde bestilt aircondition så der var ingen problemer med at lukke døren. Personalet er meget hjælpsom og rigtig god service. De kommer med gode råd og de taler fint engelsk. Maden var efter vores mening rigtig fin. Sku man ha lyst til at spise ude kan vi anbefale "Steak House" oppe ved hovedevejen - rigtig lækkert mad 👍 Vi har 7 børn og vi var på rejse uden dem og trængte til RO. Det var der på det hotel- ro . Ved pool området lå folk og var rolige. Ingen "bum bum" musik fra støjende teenager og ingen børne familier med forældre der ikke kan styre deres børn. Ro ..... ro ..... ro . Vi kaldte dette hotel "paradis på jord" og stranden der ligger en gå tur på 5 min derfra var vi det meste af vores tid. Vi havde en fantastisk ferie på et fantastisk sted. Vi vil komme der igen ❤️

Well presented chill hotel

We have returned once again to the hotel that provides the settings for a chilled holiday. If late boozy nights are your holiday thing then this is not for you. Clean well maintained room, decent size pool, plenty of sun beds and shaded areas if you are not a sun worshipper. Just down the road from the beach, just up the road to Kalamazoo Main Street with plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. We had B&B and the breakfast is typical of this area, plain but tasty. We also ate the buffet dinner twice and was good value

Central Location

Chose the Sirocco based primarily on its location , 10 minutes from main strip, the old road and the beach in a quiet spot but easily accessible. Also as it is a small hotel with 50 rooms and adult only. Had a standard room in the main pool block with was a good size and housekeeping was excellent . Air con was extra as we didn't book direct (used British Airways) and was EUR9 per night. Also need to take your own kettle . Pools towels are available for a small deposit. There were always sunbeds available but some directly next to the pool were a chair with a footstool, comfortable but these had no umbrella, so weren't very often used. There was a mix of nationalities staying, shout out to Kristina on reception who was always happy to have a chat about your day. We stayed Half Board as it was only EUR100 more than B&B but we ate out 6 times out of the 2 weeks . Breakfast was a mix of continental and cooked , however often had to ask for items to be refreshed as run out. Only sliced apple & orange by way of fruit, a bit more choice would be good. The bacon was more ham like and small frankfurt sausage, so may not be to English expectations. The eggs, if not timed right, and had been sat for a while could be hard and rubbery. The evening meal had a choice of a meat dish, chicken and fish & vegetarian. Then potato, rice, salad. Dessert was only ever melon and one small cake. Again often had to ask for trays to be refilled. The menu was the same the second week as the first so did eat out . I'd recommend going B&B as there are so many amazing restaurants to try. Found the drinks expensive compared to out in town and you had to sign for them then pay at Reception at your convenience. We did find the bar area was extremely quiet after dinner. Would recommend this hotel if you want a quiet adult hotel in an easily accessible location, but eat out in the evenings .

Great vacation

Great hotel, newly renovated. Clean, spacious rooms, everything maintained, friendly staff, always willing to help, breakfast and dinner excellent, great choice of food. Hotel is in quiet area. The beach is about 300 meters away, I recommend walking a little further (on the opposite side from Laganas) as there are beach showers. The beach is beautiful, sandy, clean, gradual entrance to the sea. The only minus/downside of the hotel is that the towels are changed only every 3 days and that the bathroom is smaller and older - especially the shower is very small. But that's all. The hotel is better in quality than some hotels with more stars - it is very good 3* hotel, great value. I definitely recommend Hotel Sirocco. I would go there again.

Great family run hotel with really helpful and welcoming staff

Just returned from The Sirocco after staying half board from 13th to 27th September 2022. A really great hotel which with a few tweeks could be amazing, From the time we arrived to leaving all the staff were very welcoming and professional. We requested a ground floor room due to my husband's mobility issues which we were given. A good size really pretty room with a large balcony overlooking the rear garden and mountains. The beds were a little uncomfortable but rectified with a mattress topper when requested which made a big difference. Our only bug bear was the shower which was a very small shower tray with a curtain and no matter what we did the bathroom flooded however we were supplied with another bathmat to soak up the water. Its 2022 and we think a shower curtain is not really acceptable when there is plenty of room for an enclosed shower. Every part of the hotel and grounds were immaculate and spotless. Breakfast and dinner were good with plenty of choice so you wouldn't go hungry although a little repetitive but for a small hotel they did great and when your there for two weeks its bound to happen. The swimming pool is amazing and there was never a problem getting a sun bed. A big shout out must go to Demi and Pedro in the bar and restaurant who looked after us so well always with a smile and enthusiasm. We don't understand why others have been so negative in their reviews. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
