Lovely Hotel and Pool, but Food Quality Poor

The Hotel Room and Pool were spotless and the housekeeper was brilliant. The problem was the food, all cooked dishes were cold and at best lukewarm cold fried eggs ,bacon and tomatoes don't appeal to us and this was the same every morning so we just had cereal and yoghurt . We went half board and the evening cooked meals were the same, Cold ! We only tried the evening meals twice and then decided to eat out in Perissa at our expense but it was worth it as there are some great restaurants nearby. The Pool Bar is the only bar at this hotel and is hardly used by any guests at night we asked for two draught beers but the beer pump hadn't been working for several days, so again we went along the front to get a drink each night or you might want to try Dorians Bar at lunchtime which is 300 yards from the Hotel and there are 2 great bakeries in the town, We would advise anyone booking this hotel to go B&B only and save yourself some money.

Nice place for a relaxing stay

Very nice hotel right on the beach. We had a large room with a view of the sea. The area is away from the tourist meccas on the northwest side of the island, which may not be for everyone. A lot of restaurants in the area to choose from. Breakfast was good, though as it is served as a buffet, the food is not always as warm as it might be. Definitely worth a stay!

Great Hotel

Amazing hotel. Cannot fault. Nice pool, friendly staff, good food, nice cocktails. Great location. We did bed and breakfast and ate in Perissa most nights, loads of places to go. Ate at the hotel restaurant a couple of evenings. Pizzas delicious. Went with our 1 year old twins and staff were very accommodating. Cannot fault. Would also recommend Dorians bar round the corner (5 min walk) for cheap beers and cocktails. We got the bus to Thera & Oia from Bobs bar, very cheap tickets!

Stunning hotel

This hotel is absolutely stunning. Fantastic location on the beach front. The staff could not do enough to help. The room was gorgeous. The food in the restaurant was delicious. Will definitely be visiting again.

A wonderful stay

This was our second year staying at aqua blue and we truly cannot fault it. The hotel itself is beautiful, right on the beach and in walking distance of shops, cafes and restaurants. The rooms and around the pool are always kept clean and every member of staff friendly, helpful and accommodating. Both years we had our children with us (toddlers) and some members of staff remembered us and were so pleased to have us back and see how the children had grown. The restaurant is lovely- again, very clean and well organised and the staff can't do enough for you. We would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit Santorini and we hope to be back again one day!
