Lovely hotel in a super location close to everything

A lovely adults only hotel, we were there the penultimate week in the season and it was fabulous. We had a ground floor 1 bedroom suite which has a bedroom with a double bed and a living room with a double sofa bed. Inches from the pool (one of a few), yards from the restaurant and a short walk to the main promenade. I was with a mobility impaired friend so it was absolutely ideal. Breakfast was fine, not a huge choice but we had what we needed. The restaurant wasn’t that inviting but when we did eat there it was lovely, the food was really nice so don’t dismiss it. We had a massage in the spa and it was lovely, reasonably priced too. The staff were lovely and it was a really relaxing break. Only 1 minor whinge - there was a coffee machine in the suite but we didn’t realise until we got the bill that they charged €2 for each tiny coffee pod they replenish! Just saying….

Great hotel and location

Excellent hotel. A true 5 star. Condition of hotel, room, pools was excellent. We had the honeymoon suite and it was beautiful and big. Food and drinks at the hotel were great. Staff is well trained, friendly and fun to interact with. Location is steps away from restaurants and beach, but with 3 pools, we never did go to the beach.

Wonderful stay

Just returned from a week at this lovely boutique style adult only hotel with just 40 rooms. Booked direct with the hotel which was effortless receiving prompt confirmation by email. We were made very welcome on arrival by a very friendly receptionist called Ionna - who was always helpful during our stay! As were all the staff.. the place is spotlessly clean.. we were allocated an executive room on the first floor which was very spacious & had a balcony overlooking one of the lovely pools. Huge comfy bed so slept well during our stay. It’s worth noting that this hotel is located near the airport so you can see & hear the aircraft flying over but it was something we got used to.. Very comfy sun loungers - didn’t have a problem getting a couple each day for a few hours morning or afternoon. Just a short walk from the sea front but in a quiet area away from the hustle & bustle. The promenade has an array of restaurants to suit all budgets & we enjoyed some delicious meals during our stay / the best being Vassilikos!! Breakfast choice was plentiful - varied continental (croissants were delicious) & hot choice on offer - though didn’t seem to always be hot, which was a shame as everything looked delicious! The bus service from Kamari to Fira, just 20 mins away runs regularly €1.60 e/w. From there you can connect to other places on the island quite easily. Would recommend going to Oia another 20 mins from Fira, to see the sunset - which was amazing & the buses run late so you can get back no problem. Had a couple of treatments in the fabulous spa which were very relaxing too & skin felt amazing after! Like to visit different places so don’t often return to the same place but may make an exception here! Thank you La Mer for making our stay so special.. should be very proud of all your fabulous staff!!

Welcoming and Luxurious

I visited with my dad and we had a great time. The pool areas were lovely and one of us even got a free upgrade. One of the best things about the hotel is the staff -- they are all very friendly and helpful and made our stay special. A special mention goes to Maria for being so welcoming!

Lovely hotel, great staff - wonderful experience!

If you're looking for somewhere peaceful and tranquil then look no further. Had a lovely welcome upon arrival, got shown around and taken to my room which is very clean and has plenty of space. Its a stones throw away from the beach and all the restaurants and bars. The staff here cannot be more helpful enough and are happy to answer all your questions. There was a spa and a gym and the pool is a nice relaxing area. These are the all the good points. the only criticisms: people put towels on their beds very early so be prepared to get up early if you want a spot that's in the sun all day. The breakfast is great and lots of choice, but doesn't stay hot so sometimes the hot food is in fact, cold. You are very close to the airport so planes fly over the hotel all day long and into the night so can be noisy but nothing too crazy. This is billed as a 5* but I think more like a 4*+ as a few things just weren't up to par but still a very lovely boutique style hotel which was very well maintained. I didnt see anyone eating dinner as the menu was limited and wasn't the most inviting decor for dinner and lots of choice elsewhere.
