We wanted a quiet relaxing break..pool beach and sunshine and thats exactly what we got! I travelled with 2 older teens and we had read all the reviews ..and this place didnt dissapoint. On arrival Christos greeted us with a drink and info about the bus offered food and showed us our rooms. We had a studio on the upper floor and it was spacious and clean. Lovely bathroom with a huge shower, well equiped kitchen and big bedroom leading onto a balcony with table, chairs, umbrella and dryer. It was perfect. We woke up to a wonderful view of the pool and sea. We spent our days either at the pool when mostly we were the only ones in it, or we walked to Lichnos beach, a five minute walk down and fifteen back up..it honestly wasnt that bad even in 34 degrees and it helped knowing we would jump straight in the pool. The beach was beautiful..we stayed at the campsite end where there is a well stocked shop a bar and toilets. Beds were 7e for 2 and an umbrella and the sea was crystal clear and warm. We went into Parga for a couple of eve nings using the hotel transport. Parga is beautiful with tons of shops and restaurants. Make sure you walk further back up the windy lanes to discover all the amazing shops. We also used the restaurant at the back of the hotel.. ..amazing food and views over Lichnos. Christos and his team are amazing and can't do enough for you..really this man never stops and if he hasnt got something you want he jumps on his bike and goes and gets it! We kept our room on for 15 euros ..well worth it. This place is amazing and if you are thinking of booking...just do it!!
5* thoroughly recommend!
I appreciate that I maybe repeating others The apartments are very spacious - the beds and pillows were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and they provided fairy liquid and a sponge! The bathroom had a nice size glass shower and a hair dryer. The balcony overlooked the pool .The cleaner needs a special mention as she did not stop the place was spotless! The safe and air conditioning were included which is unheard of in Greece. Nothing was too much trouble for Christos, he is lovely and chatty! The food in the bar was great and reasonably priced. If you want your dish tweaked Christos was more than happy to do so! It was great that the guests congregated there at night-sharing stories of the Boers (we did not see) and laughs. The bus ran 4 times while we were there but the times are in your room and remember to be there 10 mins before. We had an evening flight and we were able to keep our room on for 15 euros which made a big difference. Certainly worth asking! We had a fantastic time and thanks to the Parga Posse ! Thanks to the Parga Posse for a week of laughs and fun!
We (2 adults & 1 teen) had a 1 week stay at end of August, temps in low to mid 30 degrees. Our rooms had aircon (no charge) which we were glad of. It is a small hotel of 16 rooms. Our room was 202 on top floor on the front corner so gorgeous views of Lichnos bay to the front and the pool to the side. The balcony wrapped round. Bathroom (shower etc) kitchen and two rooms with beds so worked well for the 3 of is but as one was double bed and other two singles together ok for 4. Single beds on the firm side but double was ok. Main bedroom had wall mounted tv, mainly Greek channels but bbc tv news channel. Kitchen had 2 ring hob, microwave, coffee percolator, and a table top grill, fridge. Also had crockery, pans etc... Basic but just enough. Tables (2) and chairs on balcony with umbrella shades. Pool is excellent, great size and very well maintained. Good selection of sub bather beds. Pool bar good place to get drinks and snacks all day breakfast as well. You could eat all your meals they but it might be a little boring by the end of a week. Christos and staff great and always there to help with knowledge, advice or an occasional lift off he is able to. The property is on the slopes down to the bay so if you have mobility issues it can be a challenge. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel and would love to visit again. The official 2 star rating seems low to me. Basic facilities but week kept and cleaned daily. 10 mins from Parga town. Minibus goes from hotel to town and back several times a day for 1.50 euro per person per direction payable at end of the week. Taxi cost 7 euro each way. (Taxi rank in parga is near the church) The walk down to lichnos beach about 15 mins....steep so allow more for return! Small shop about 5 mins ealk diwn riad. Bigger on at beach camping site (cut through campsite if walking down and heading to right end of beach) There us also a restaurant but im afraid we didnt try it
We had a fantastic week at Bella Vista. Very peaceful place with stunning view over lichnos beach, the rooms are very clean, very nice breakfast and very nice food during the day and in evenings.. Christos the owner is very helpful för anything You need. We wait till next summer to return
This review is quite long but it has lots of valuable information in it. Me and my husband went for a week away for peace, quiet and to wind down, we were not disappointed, I can honestly say we have never been so chilled out. Christos is the manager, he was always smiling and will do anything to help you out as did all of the team at Bella Vista, we were prepared for the early morning sunbed stampede but so surprised that in the whole week that never happened, you could go out for the day and there was still plenty of sunbeds available, we would get up sometimes at 10am and there was still lots of beds available. The rooms (we were in 106) were a little bit tired in their decor but we never went to stay in the room so it wasn't a problem, the only thing I would suggest is the big lemon and plum tree in the front of the balcony would do with a lot of cutting back because not only did it obscure our view but it also blocked the sun on our balcony. Parga is a little way out from Bella Vista but Christos puts in a bus at various times of the day to take you in and bring you back out, the price is €1.50 pp one way which is payable at the end of your stay, the last bus back is 10.30 which some ppl complained about, if you want to stay out later the you can always get a taxi back. Down the hill from Bella Vista is a very small mini market but if you go into Parga you can buy your shopping at the Express Market, if you spend around €50 they will deliver it to Bella Vista and Christos will put it in your room. The bar serves snacks up to 10pm, we are there s few times, the spaghetti carbonara was lovely as were the omelettes, pork souvlaki and the pork steaks, the bar even grows some of their own ingredients in the garden by the bottom of the pool, you can't get fresher than that! There are three beaches to choose from Lichnos Beach which is down a very steep hill, it is mainly gravel or shale with lots of sunbeds and cafés, the hill back up if you are walking is an absolute killer! Parga beach which is quite sandy but gets very busy and Valtos beach which is a very nice beach too. There is a taverna up the hill from the apartments, (follow the steps right up from the bar for a short cut) the view from the taverna is amazing, we ate there a couple of nights and the food was lovely each time, the meeting place pub (the one with all the footy scarves and the one that gives free food with each round of drinks) is at the far end of Parga beach, go to the great big anchor and it is up the side street at the top. All in all you could eat at a different restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner and still wouldn't have tried them all! Many thanks to Christos and Co for a very relaxing holiday 🥰
