Meget fint og behageligt hotel et par km udenfor Paleros med fin pool og tæt på strand.

Vi boede på dette hotel en uge. Det er et mindre hotel med udsigt til havet. Værelserne er fine og velfungerende og vi havde en pæn stor altan. Der er en restaurant, der serverer enkelt græsk mad og bl.a. lokal vin fra egen produktion. Hotellet har et fint, niveaudelt poolområde og der er desuden kun 150 meter til en fin lille strand med strandstole og parasoller. Hotellet ligger ca. 2 km fra byen, som man kan komme til ved at gå på en ikke særlig befærdet større vej. Der er faktisk ikke noget negativt at sige om selve hotellet. Det er det bedste, vi har boet på i Grækenland, så vi ville ønske, vi kunne tage det med os rundt i landet.

Typisch griechisches Flair.

Ursprünglich haben wir nur drei Tage in diesem wunderbaren Hotel gebucht. Es hat alles zu bieten, was einen Urlaub perfekt macht. Sehr große Zimmer ebenso große Terrassen beziehungsweise Balkone mit herrlicher Aussicht ein geräumiger Poolbereich mit viel Platz für die Gäste im und am Pool. Freundliches und aufmerksames Personal und alles ist perfekt gepflegt, so wurden aus drei Tagen ganze zwei Wochen. Ausstattung und Frühstück sind zwar einfach, aber uns hat nichts gefehlt.

Nice and clean hotel with a couple but’s

Very nice clean hotel with spacious rooms overlooking the sea and mountains. 100 meters downhill is a public beach with free sunchairs and umbrellas as well as a small bar/cafe that run the area. A really big plus for the hotel. We used the nice beach more since the hotel has a silent period from 3pm to 5pm where the pool is closed. ( we knew that prior to booking) A very strange thing indeed and not something I have ever experienced before. Doesn’t really get the concept after being there, since there is nothing silent about the restaurant area next to the pool. If the beach wasn’t available, I could not recommend the hotel after having stayed there alone for that reason. Especially not with kids. Food wise it is not an experience to eat at the hotel though it it is said to be Greek cuisine but a bit too simple. Ok for lunch if you choose the Club Sandwich. The breakfast is very good and you won’t miss anything here. There is a good 20 minutes walk to the city of Paleros so suggest to walk down and take a taxi back for 7 euros. Paleros is quick to run through and main attraction is the many seaside restaurants with good food. Other than that, not much else to do here than enjoy the sun at the nice beach and walk to the town for dinner and see the sun set against the mountains in the evenings.

Wonderful stay at the Elektra

We took a punt on choosing this hotel and it turned out to be a great decision. This is a small family run hotel, 15 minutes walk from Palairos and just a hop, skip and jump to their private beach. The staff were excellent, breakfast was simple but adequate. Lunch and dinner were freshly cooked, and we couldn’t fault any of the meals we had in anyway. The hotel was very clean, quiet, rooms were more than adequate, with a lovely swimming pool and a pebble beach which also had a small café. Highly recommended.
