Muss renoviert werden

Der Service ist sehr freundlich, doch das Hotel muss renoviert werden. Die Klinaanlage stinkt fürchterlich (Kanalgeruch), das Bad ist sehr alt und die Fotos geben kein ehrliches Bild ab. Es gibt viel bessere Unterkünfte zum gleichen Preis (z.B. Casa Di Gaga ganz in der Nähe). Pool darf nur bis 18:30 benutzt werden und hat keine Leiter zum Ein/Ausstieg. Kann ich nicht empfehlen, auch wenn wir sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit empfangen wurden.

Hôtel à éviter de faible qualité

Pas de stationnement proche de l'hôtel ni d'accès voiture. Il faut donc trouver un parking éloigné payant et promener ses valises dans les rues. Pas très agréable. Les chambres sont difficiles d'accès car le bâtiment est vieux avec des escalier très pentus (handicapés s'abstenir !) . Notre chambre avait une odeur d'égout car le lavabo ne disposait pas de siphon. Pas très agréable. Le balcon était petit et les menuiseries toutes écaillées et fermant mal ! Un manque d'entretien un peu partout. Le petit déjeuner était très moyen et si on demande des œufs au plat on voit tout de suite que l'on demande l'impossible aux personnels peu aimable. La piscine qui ressemble plus à un bac à poissons est dans un passage et donc sans intimité. Hôtel à éviter si vous recherchez un peu de confort et de qualité.

Disappointing

Originally when I arrived my initial thoughts were what a quaint, historic property and I received a lovely welcome and then I saw my room. I had booked and economy room for 1 night and on reflection I was grateful it was just a single night. I had no epectations beyond a clean room similar to online photos. The room was located on the ground floor and faced the street. Unfortunately this meant the curtains had to remain closed 24/7 to get any privacy. The room was not clean and there was a significant amount of dust. There were a number of broken items in the room and the grout in the bath was so mouldy I couldn't not bring myself to use it. I got the impression that the room was opened last minute which would have explained the dust and broken items. In addition the area across from my room seemed as if it was used for open storage , it was filled with spare bedding amongst other things. Breakfast the next day was average at best and quite basic and the choice was not great. The littke courtyard was a nice space to sit down in however. Overall I felt the money paid even for an economy room was not justified at the very least the room should have been clean and in working order

Luxury & Ambience combined

As a couple we have stayed at the Di Corina over a number of years. We keep returning. This old Venitian Hotel is ideally placed for the sites of Rethymnon, including the fortress and lively night life. It has a very good restaurant attached where we ate a number of times. The staff always welcome us back with enthusiasm and we have made real friends at the hotel. I would recommend booking a junior suite if you are staying for any length of time. We will be back. True Crete beauty of a hotel 👌❣️

We stayed here for 3 days it was more than I expected So much character lovely owners,great location. We didn't manage to use the restaurant but I have been told it's phenomenal we wanted to travel around rhythemon and make the most of it and boy there's lots to do 😍 so glad to have stayed here and experience what there is to offer. Beds really comfy the only downside we experienced which isn't the hotels fault but there is a very large nightclub opposite and I was kept awake most nights as partying went on till 6am 😳 I can imagine as things start to open up more it will be a common thing 😂 parking there are two car parks pricey at €20 a day! You can park up on the streets but at your own risk. Great place and loads to offer ❤️
