Syntes generelt det er upassende at sende sådan et spørgeskema ud, vel vidende fra Apollo’s side at vi har været spærret inde i denne corona tid. Bestemt ikke den ferie vi så frem til, kun ekstremt glade for at være hjemme igen.

Flot hotel og sødt restaurantpersonale. Lækker buffet i restauranten.

Stort poolområde var under renovering, så det var ikke specielt småbørnsvenligt i perioden, og mange aktiviteter var desværre aflyst. Personalet i receptionen var ikke så imødekommende eller informative. La Nonna-restauranten, som vi fik en gratis aftensmad på, var ikke gearet til børn, så en ellers dejlig madoplevelse blev en smule stressende.

Fantastic Holiday *****

On arrival at the hotel we was greeted by a lovely friendly receptionist. Our room 314 was clean and tastefully decorated cleaned every day with towel changed daily. The food was delicious and varied every day the desserts were amazing and the staff were friendly and welcoming especially Sylvia and Nayem nothing was to much trouble for them Michael the barman knew what I drank and made them without asking 👍🏻 the same with the pool bar staff. It’s very covid friendly with all measures have been put in place with hand gel stations everywhere. There’s nothing I can fault with this resort and will definitely be returning next year. This is also a resort I’d definitely take my children too there is so much for them to do they’ll definitely have a fun time.

Perfect holiday in such circumstances

Myself and my partner have just finished a 10 day stay at this hotel. We couldn’t have asked for a better holiday in such strange circumstances(corona virus). The hotel was constantly spotlessly clean with constant access to hand sanitiser. Masks were mandatory unless sunbathing or sat eating/drinking this made everyone feel safe. Food was served to you by chefs which was reassuring and always fresh. Our room (141) was perfect and the cleaner always did an outstanding job each day. Only downside if there has to be one was the all inclusive food became samey but this is the case in all allinclusives and the Elba did a fantastic job in such strange circumstances. Thank you again for a perfect holiday and we will be sure to stay again. Jess and Jamie :)

2* Charging a 4* Rate!

My family and I visited the hotel for 2 weeks in August. The group included a couple, two children and a disabled lady. Unfortunately the hotel was not as advertised, left us all disappointed in different ways and was certainly not worth over £11k which the group paid in total. The biggest negative of the hotel is the staff. They are rude, unprofessional and many of them not suited to work in hospitality. The reception staff were particularly unwelcoming and especially Aniko Nemeth. The recently introduced Covid-19 regulations provided Aniko and her colleagues with the perfect opportunity to harass guests. On a daily basis the reception staff and Aniko in particular would shout at my children and I across an empty lobby about the face mask requirements. Whilst I appreciate that the requirements were made a legal requirement by the Spanish government, the way in which this way communicated by the staff and rigour with which it was enforced was not appropriate and especially when directed at a 9 year old child. I understand that the hotel needs to do as much as possible to ensure social distancing requirements are in place and as many measures to limit the spread of Covid, so that they can continue to operate. However, it was quite clear from the behaviour of the staff that this was an excuse for the staff to abuse their new found ‘power’ over its clients. When my brother’s face mask broke in Playa Blanca, he was approached by the Guardia Civil (Civil police) who asked him politely to put his face mask on and when he explained his situation were understanding and accomodating- as these things really do happen. The Elba staff on the other hand, including the Director- Thomas Lause, shouted, ordered and he even ran down the hallway (dropping his phone in his fervour) to stop me making a mask free 15sec story for Instagram! I believe that Thomas and Aniko would have been better suited in careers in the military or police than hospitality and customer service. Other things that are not quite as advertised include: Location, rooms/rates,cleanliness, Location: The hotel is located 30mins from Playa Blanca and over 40mins walk from the beach Playa Dorada. The hotel provides a shuttlebus service which goes 3x in the morning to drop off at the beach and provides 3 time slots in the afternoon. The hotel does not provide any transportation for lunchtime and when I queried what people who had paid for all inclusive and had lunch at the hotel, the staff suggested that I walk 40mins in 30c with a 3 year old. When I said this was not an acceptable suggestion, she told me to get a cab. When I asked if the hotel would reimburse me for this cost, the reception staff replied ‘ofcourse not’. Rooms/rates: The rooms are generally in bungalow style and despite advertising different suites and rates, all the rooms bar the disabled one seem to be exactly the same. I had a junior suite and my brother the confort suite and are yet to figure out any difference between the two. Cleanliness: The cleanliness of the hotel leaves alot to be desired. Whilst the communal areas are generally of an ok standard, the cleaning of the rooms leaves alot to be desired. Our floors were not cleaned for days (if at all) and as we went to the sand beach daily this was very obvious. The sand also highlighted to us that sheets were nor changed and left a trail. Towels were similarly not changed and we took to throwing them all on the floor, so that they would have to be replaced. I did call reception and highlighted how dirty the rooms were ( this was across 3 different rooms) and asked for the floors to be cleaned, towels/ sheets changed ect but i did not see an improvement thereafter. The outdoor areas in front of the rooms weren’t cleaned once and the blue and white couches were so filthy you couldn’t even sit on them. The interior of the hotel in itself is far from luxury and better suited to a 3* hotel. The pools are fine and as the hotel was considerably under capacity, there was lots of space and you could easily find deck chairs. just came home from Elba royal village

Brilliant holiday apart from some rude staff at reception. Kids entertainer Daniel is excellent with kids. Room serviced every day clean sheets every 3 days or sooner if needed ample sun-beds. Adequate food suggestion to cut costs would be to ditch the table clothes and napkins while they are lovely touch it is an unnecessary cost to the hotel. hope yous can stay open during this trying time. Hopefully we will return.

Great plce

kids myself and my mum had a brilliant 11 days. Kids loved the entertainment, animation team did a great job. Lovely clean tidy place. Pool is fantastic and clean. Staff so friendly. Food good, need a diet now lol
