Pool området er kaos. Der er alt for mange solstole til de mennesker der er på jotellet- Desuden er der problement med håndklæde reservation af stole, der ikke bruges. Man skal stå tidligt op for at få en plads.

Ferie

Fint hotel, pæne værelser med gode senge. Rengøring og rene håndklæder hver dag. Ligger fantastisk, tæt på stranden og den lille strandprominade / havn. Lidt meget larm der hvor man spiser, men en fin teresse man kan sidde og nyde sin mad. Jeg kan fint anbefale hotellet, men vil nok kun vælge morgenmad næste gang. Aftensmaden var jeg ikke så vild med. Vil gerne komme igen.

Det er bedste feriested

Mig og min familie er meget glad for Kroatien og hotel Alga bluesun , alt er perfekt. Mange tak for hotel personalet og Kroatiske folks gæstfrihed og høflighed. Jeg vil absolut rejse igen og igen til Kroatien som er Europas bedste land. Tak til alle Kroaterer . Alle bør prøve rejse til dette dejligt land. Venlig hilsen Kemal koc fra København

skønt sted

Der var dejlig mad - morgenmad fra 7-10 frokost fra 12-14 og aftensmad fra 19-21 snack mellem 16-17 og fri bar fra kl 10-23- lokale drikkevarer.. Maden var rigtig god og varierende. Drikkevarerne var ok - kunne godt nok ikke drikke hvidvinen og øllet var nok fortyndet, men det blev vi vant til. Dejlig pool området men mange forskellige dybder og så velegnet til småbørn. Der var også et indendørs pool område med lidt varmere vand end udendørs. Sauna og fitness til fri afbenyttelse Man kan gå til Makaska ca 5 km og den anden vej til en anden by også ca. 5 km- Stien er ikke velegnet med klapvogn eller barnevogn til Makaska, men en meget flot tur begge veje. Havde en skøn ferie med familien store som små

Nice but could be so much better

The hotel itself is lovely, the problem is the waiting staff. We went all inclusive and the staff ranged from one or two who were lovely, to a few who were actively rude. The others were somewhere in the middle. I was undecided whether to go as low as two stars as it felt as though, as all inclusive guests, we were right at the bottom of their priorities. It's a shame as it could have been a really lovely holiday. The place is fantastic the locals friendly and the islands are a must see. Bluesun you really could have done better.

Great Hotel, fab location

The hotel itself is located beach side, only the promenade separating the hotel from the beach itself. The hotel is quite large and appears to cater for families and large coach touring groups. The lobby is clean and tidy but is quite worn out compared to the rest of the hotel, this not making any difference to our stay. Our room was on the 5th floor with a side view of the beach and overlooking the hotel next door. The room was spotlessly clean. The furnishings were of a good standard, the bed was comfortable and the power shower was excellent. There is a mini bar fridge, safe and a good quality flat screen in the room. The only thing that was missing which was quite unusual for a hotel of this standard, was the lack of tea making facilities in the room. The hotel's reason for this was because of power supply problems at the Hotel. The other problem for me was a lack of Air con in the room. The hotel did not inform us of this at check in or before we arrived and when asked why it wasn't working the reception staff said there was no air con or heating working in the hotel at the moment as it was colder outside and we wouldn't need it! The room was extremely stuffy in the evening, despite various attempts to cool it down by drawing the curtain and leaving the balcony door open etc. At night the room would be between 19-24 deg which was to hot for me, so sleeping was a problem. Personally I think the hotel is trying to save money by not having to service tea making facilities and turn on the Air con which I do think is a shame. The pool area was good. There were plenty of beds, lots of parasols and shady seating areas. The pool was not heated and freezing cold (more money saving I think!) but this didn't affect us personally. On to the food! Personally I thought for the amount of guests the hotel has to cater for and the price we paid to stay here, on the all inclusive option, the food was perfectly adequate. There was plenty of choices to be had if you are not a fussy eater. The salads and fruit were very good and the meat selection was rotated regularly. The deserts were a little bit repetitive but looked and tasted good, there was also ice cream available too. People that say the food wasn't good are just fussy eaters, I have no idea what they actually expect! So from me a big thumbs up for the food, don't let the negative reviews put you off staying here. On to the staff.... I agree with other reviewers. On the whole most, not all, of the staff are pretty miserable and do lack any kind of service. All that is needed is a smile, but to be fair, you don't even get that, just a very stern face. Despite all the negative reviews about the service, the hotel management don't seem to address this and I do wonder why that is. It might be because a fair amount of them are doing double shifts, some of them were present during our entire stay, this can't make them feel that great! Did this affect our stay here, no it didn't. The all inclusive drink option is not great but it isn't terrible. The beer is drinkable and not disgusting. The spirits are hit and miss and the soft drinks are pretty poor apart form the lemonade which was ok. Again, for the price we paid, we didn't expect name brands but I'm pretty sure there must be ways of improving the taste of their non branded soft drinks if they went out there and tried? The entertainment provided by the hotel was absolutely fine and just a bit of cheesy fun. You don't have to listen to it if you don't want to and does finish at a reasonable time so that people can sleep. Overall I think this hotel was very good value for money. There are improvements that could be made and I do believe the hotel should be better at communicating the lack of AC. I commend the cleaning staff who cleary work very hard to keep the hotel nice and clean all the time. I would stay here again.
