on the 24 of Sept. my friend sand i, and same as every weekend we book a staycation in one of DOHA's resort since the COVID 19 regulation is not allowing us to travel out. the ritz carlton doha was our choice for, and it was a very high professional level of customer services you feel like home. the rooms are amazing up to a high level of Hospitality, the location is marvelous and the food quality is 5 stars. not to forget the amazing pool of the hotel where you can relax under the warm sun of doha with a lot of refreshing cocktails. i would recommend it for any time , and for sure a second time visit will be near for sure.
The ritz was hands down one of our best hotel stays ever! The professionalism at this hotel is unreal! Every complaint or request we made was taken serious and implemented immediately! I mentioned we were celebrating our 8th anniversary and the hotel went above and beyond to decorate and make us feel special....free of charge!! Dinner at Sel and miel was great....especially our very tall waiter(unfortunately didn't get his name)! Unfortunately my chicken was undercooked...but they re-made it very quick! My wife claims her salmon wad the best shes ever had! The pool was clean and the lifeguards and staff were very frie ndly! the water in the pool was cooled to a perfect temperature. Breakfast buffet was OK! We would defn come back and recommend the stay here!
perfect place to relax ! amazing staff ever
Actually i'm too busy to write any review this long , and no body ask me to do this as well. me and my husband booked a staycation for 2 nights on the 8th September -10th . i didn't expected it to be this great. my husband happen to managed with Shafini and Fion to arrange a little special touch in our room. i was so surprised and so happy since the start of the stay already , then we went to the pool in that afternoon .It was hot but the staff at the towel hut is so sweet and kind , i can see his smiley face even under the mask ! how can he keep that attitude and level of attentiveness in that heat !! i wish he has cooling fan really as well as the car vallet guys , all guys that are outdoor are way toooo nice in that temperature. the staff at breakfast also very attentive . me and my husband were really discussed about how all of your staff are so nice,kind pay attention to little detail ,polite and not discriminate against the race . they treat every guest as same human being value. ypur staff training are on point but that wouldn't help if the staff doesn't have this great attitude. because of the quality of your hotel , staff . we definitely book Ritz Carlton for our staycation again . and not even wanted to try anywhere else . all of our friends have to know about how great you are as well. Lastly, thanks to jenni(i guess, i cant remember her name properly) she showed us the property before we booked, we already know how good it is going to be since we walk around with her . Thanks to the housekeeping (im not sure who set my room exactly ,either shafini ,Fion or housekeeping team) that carefully place rose petal properly 1 by 1 so precisely. that's must take a lot of time . Of course , Shafini and Fion for your kindness . i never expected to get this kind of service in doha . you are beyond !! hope to see you again soon Ritz Carlton
Newly Renovated with Terrible Personnel Servicing!!!
It’s true rooms are renovated but this is definitely not enough to standardize a 5star hotel rating. Let’s start from the reservation process: the operator took 30min call to place a wrong reservation and multiple (also) wrong emails to recrify the first mistake. You arrive to the reception area: as slow as can be, the operators make you wait not less than 45min in line. Oh, and once it is finally your turn, simply someone jumps in from the side and his request is processed right in front of your eyes!! You reach your room: It is new, clean, and fancy. And expecting a cake treat for my husband’s birthday celebration, it arrives to another room and they inform you that they can’t bring up another one for you cause it needs 2 hours defrosting and prior arrangement. Down to the pool and beach: the beach is inaccessible due to construction nearby. You just have that very old pool zone. Old bar, old towels, old coolers, old kids’ slide pool.. everything is old down there. And, also the food is unappetizing and the service is poor. And tadaaaaa.. my 4years kid vomited inside the pool and we made sure to report it to two lifeguards and none of them bothered taking any action to send someone for cleanup or alert the swimmers to go out! All in all, I definitely do not recommend and sadly won’t repeat our stay in The Ritz-Carlton although it’s a well recognized International Hotel!
Even though there is no buffet in the city, Ritz managed to create a buffet with all regulations that were taken due to pandemic. Nice fresh and delicious food, big area in the banqueting room. Price and quality both worth to try and visit.
