Perfekt til familie tur

Kan varmt anbefales, det ligger tæt på shopping gade der går ned til vandet. Servicen er super og der er 24/7 hotel service. Lækker pool med gode sol senge og badehåndklæder som man gerne må tage med til stranden hvis man vil så lad bare håndklæderne blive hjemme. Villaerne er fine, men regn ikke med at lave mad selv da der ikke er komfur eller ovn. Dog fint køleskab til egne drikkevarer der kan købes tæt på i supermarked til meget lave priser. Book direkte på hotellets hjemmeside, det er nemt og de er super serviceminded. Bed evt. Hotellet om at hente Jer i lufthavnen det koster ca. 250 kr men fair da turen tager ca 1 time. Husk blot at hvis man vil have sol og feriestemning er det bedst at rejse i perioden november til marts da det regner en del fra maj til september hvor stort set alle turist butikker og strand "shaks" er lukket.

Excellent place

Booked this for 4 nights after reading reviews and must say it stood upto it's ranking. Everything is just perfect about this place. Right from entering the reception where the staffs are very courteous to the big clean rooms with nice balcony. 3 Pools and u can use any as per ur liking. Beach is just 5 mins walk and nice restaurants nearby. Food at the restaurant is good though an improvement in biryani (was more like rice and chicken curry mixed) can be expected. The only hiccup we faced was that our room key stopped working at 11:30 pm at night and maintenance took 30 mins to get the lock working. However this we consider as one-off technical glitche and hence did not affect the rating and keep it 5. The staffs managed the situation professionally and courteously. Overall would recommend this place to everyone who is looking for a relaxing environment.

Perfect stay with exception to some late night experience

I stayed in Junior Suite King Bed for 4 nights with my wife & daughter and I would have given it 5 star provided the late night visit did not happen. It was around 3 am in the night when someone opened and entered our room.The noise woke me up and I found a hotel staff standing in the door.He said sorry and then left. In the morning when I called the reception they told by mistake instead of room number 319 he entered our room , that is , 219.Then they apologized and as I didn't want to ruin my holiday I didn't take this further.However to be honest it was real bummer and people checking the hotel should specifically mention ''We don't need any late night visit though it might be complimentary''. Having said that, big thumbs up to hotel for following things. 1. Food was really good,including buffet breakfast, with chef Nitin and other staff constantly looking after you. 2. Location wise it was perfect, with 5 mins walk from Candolim beach and good restaurants. 3. Pool was nice and clean. 4. Room was spacious,clean and interiors were good too.

Enthralling!

For the first time, it is both gratifying and exacting to write a review (likely to be my biggest too). Gratifying because it (expectedly!) turned out to be our best stay in Candolim. A little difficult as words (in my dictionary) are probably not enough to review our lovely stay at Seashell. But I will try! Post some good web search/research of hotels in Candolim we zeroed in on Seashell Suites and Villas (6-9 Sep). It all starts right at the moment you reach their Reception. The very courteous and welcoming staff ensure you have a quick/smooth check in. (Their staff is their biggest asset -should be the case for every hotel in my opinion). Then you notice cleanliness as you are taken to your room or Villa (we chose Junior Suite) and it only gets better when you see your room. Spacious with nice seating area, most amenities included (two TVs add to convenience), nice balcony, classy interior work and reasonably spacious and clean bathroom (amazing Shower!) is the kind of room you can expect. They have a small refrigerator but it's not a mini bar i.e. no eatables/alcohal included. I think it's a strategic decision and doesn't hurt at all especially when you have Newton superstore at just 2 minutes walk (literally two minutes). They have garden view from most Junior Suites but fortunately we got both garden and pool view upon request (fortunately available). Talking of food, we didn't opt for breakfast but whatever we ordered from room service was delectable. They have 3 swimming pools 1 of which is fairly decent/big and the other two are relatively small. Although we didn't use the pool due to rains but they also looked well maintained (so were the gardens by the way). They have one restaurant (indoor) called Neptune which is perfect for fine dining. (They also have live music at this restaurant every Saturday 7:30-9pm). We only used it once as we mostly prefer outdoor cafes/pubs in Goa. We also had the opportunity to meet their general manager, the owner and (I believe) his son. Simple and lovely people! This is probably another reason that most people in their staff (including security guards) were ever smiling, polite and helpful. Special mention of Feona and Merlyn from Reception team who were extremely supportive! To make our stay even more comfortable- they also allowed us late check out at 3pm upon request (of course always subject to availability). Now, moving to a few areas where Seashell could probably build upon: a) It would be good to have full mirror in room. It is useful especially for female guests like my wife needed this:) I also mentioned this to Owner and he said it's already in pipeline:) b) The bar by the pool could have been more impressive. It's quite an individual preference though. c) They could consider opening/reopening their restaurant at the back gate. It not only gives two options to guests but also keeps it spacious especially in peak season. Having live music in the restaurant (if law permits) at the back gate or near pool/gym area might be more impact ful. d) They could consider opening a rooftoplounge/bar (if space allows). It will be a great add-on to the property. Also, a treat for guests like me:) e) I think this is one thing they should really consider : I didn't happen to see any recreation area or games like Table Tennis, Pool table, Foos Ball etc. These really make the stay experience more enjoyable for some guests. While I mention the points listed above I, at the same time, realize that these add feathers to the cap but some of these can easily be done without. And probably not there for a reason. And Seashell's high points are too many and too strong anyway! A word again for Seashell's staff and hotel's cleanliness - you all are doing a great job👍🏻 As I am almost done, I would quickly add that I meant to write this review much earlier but I caught fever (during our stay there) and recovery took much longer than expected. I so so wish that I hadn't fallen sick especially when we were staying at such an amazing place. Never mind - next time! Time for Conclusion: You may like or love Seashell but neither of these is very unlikely! Go and experience luxury plus comfort in a unique way. Classy is the word for this hotel! Cheers, Sourav

Outstanding

Simply fabulous!!! Best for the group of people. Five star feeling at the most affordable pricing. Staff is excellent ( special thanks to shubert- dining incharge) very cleanly and well maintained property. Decent pool size with gym area. Best part of the property is owner visits personally to check the operations
