Fremragende efterårsferie - Saaydiat Island Rotana

Utroligt dejligt hotel med en fantastisk beliggenhed på Saaydiat Island. Smuk hvid sandstrand og krystalklart, tyrkisblåt havvand. Hotelværelserne er store og luksuøse indrettet. Servicen er i top, både i receptionen, poolen, restauranterne, rengøringen - alle steder blev vi mødt af venlige og servicemindet personale. Hotellet er kun 1,5 år gammelt og fremstår flot med mange fine og overdådige detaljer i fællesarealerne. Det er høj klasse og faciliteterne på hotellet er rigtig fine. Der er fine muligheder for spisning på de 3 restauranter på hotellet foruden hovedrestauranten som serverer en meget flot og varieret morgenmad. Jeg kan varmt anbefale hotellet.

Big WOW!

It was my first visit to Abu Dhabi which is a wonderful and welcoming city, we stayed at the Rotana hotel which is an amazing hotel! The service was excellent, the restaurants are a mix of the eastern and the worldwide cousin - wonderful! The rooms are big, very comfortable, equipped with all the latest technology, the pool is great, the hotel beach is beautiful, the staff is so nice and helpful. What can I say - big Wow!

Market Brunch

I have been here numerous times now and it is absolutely fantastic. Whilst I’ve been numerous times before the pandemic, I have now been 3 times since the reopening. Excellent COViD controls in place, and the service has been excellent by the whole team every time, but it’s worth an extra thanks to Nikita - I’ve been fortunate enough to have her look after us on every visit so far and she is brilliant and very attentive. This is a brunch which ensures you have a great time and are very generous with the table service! Highly recommend!

Complaint

I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with Saadiyat Rotana hotel which I unfortunately chose to spend my two days off, As a loyal Rotana guest for many years, Saadiyat Rotana is by far the worst of the lot. Right from the check-in! I made a reservation for one night (Arrival Date: 20/10/2020) and the type of room I booked is Family Room (2 adjoining Rooms with 1 King Bed and 2 Single Beds) and inclusive of Breakfast. Based on the hotel Check-in and Check-out Policy “Early check-in from 09:00 hours onwards can be provided, subject to availability”, I made online Check-In the day before and it was mentioned that I would like the Check-In to be at 1:00 PM. When I arrived at your hotel at 1:00 PM asked about my reservation they gave me room (no. 306 and 307), and When I asked what time I could check-in, they had explained that due to COVID-19, as part of their procedure, a 2 hour disinfection cleanse would take place to assure guests a safe stay. After 2 hours (at 3:00 PM) go back up to the lobby to check into my room (no. 306 and 307) I was shocked that the room was still not ready and it needed another 20 minutes. upon explaining to the receptionist that my children need to go to the bathroom and rest, I was only given one room for me and my family (No. 141) and told me the other room (no.142) need time to be ready. But unfortunately no one directed me properly to the room and this room was not as agreed and was not of the required standard as it is very far and uncomfortable as there are workers outside, I perceive this type of the treatment as unacceptable. Also I sent complaint email to the hotel but no one answered me. This type of service is completely unacceptable at so many levels. It is not the kind of treatment I would have expected from a five star hotel of your state and caliber. I am very disappointed from this bitter experience. Note: until I cancelled my reservation and left the hotel - after 3:45 PM, the second room (no.142) and others rooms (no. 306 and 307) was not ready.

Why going abroad when Saadiyat Rotana Resort & Villas has it all! (from a UAE long term European resident)

My husband and I wanted to celebrate our anniversary in UAE (COVID-19 limitation) and we were recommended to stay at this hotel. What a great recommendation! We just had an AMAZING 4 days stay; everything was just perfect. We even found a very tasty anniversary cake in our room with a personal touch (adding a bretzel feature on it) as they noticed at time of check in that my husband is German 😊 very thoughtful. The beautifully decorated room was stunning and huge with very nice large bathroom and with all amenities you could dream off and even more. Secluded balcony with 2 large sofas & wonderful sea view. The hotel has a great pool and a stunning beach. Saadiyat beach is 9 km long (white sand, super clean). No motor nuisance as it is a protected beach (9 km long) where tortoises come to hatch and where you can sometimes see dolphins very close to the beach. We actually saw 7 of them yesterday morning, what an experience! A nice feature at the beach is that they have divided it into 3 areas, one for families, one for couples and one for people looking for quietness. We booked the Friday Market Brunch and were blown away by the choice of food: from caviar, oysters, lobsters, sushi, ceviche, to delicious meat cuts, cheeses, breads etc., etc. The way the restaurant staff have set-up the many food stations is impressive. Well done to them. The Brunch is definitely a MUST whether you are resident or not. For those worried about taking a vacation due to COVID, I can confirm that ROTANA takes exemplary measures to protect their customers: employees are regularly tested; rooms are sealed after being cleaned and disinfected ready for the next guest; loungers at the beach and at the pool are disinfected after each use; free masks stands are available throughout the hotel; sanitizers can be found everywhere, hotel is super clean. You really feel safe. Once again ROTANA and its dedicated employees delivered high-class services/experience.
