The perfect holiday retreat
We stayed at the Paxos Beach Hotel for 3 nights. It was very relaxing to hang out by the pool and the beach. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They helped us to rent a boat with skipper for 1 day, and we were able to explore the blue caves and go to Antipaxos. My teenage daughters and I were very happy with our stay! The lovely scenery, great service, very comfortable sea-view bungalows and delicious food helped to make this stay the highlight of our holiday. We would definitely love to come back!
Romantic beach village
a lovely hotel with bungalo styled rooms, kind of a small greek village. Nice, stony private beach with free sunbeds, towels and umbrellas. Friendly, efficient staff. Basic breakfast, not special but certainly ok for 3 stars. We had dinner in the nearby tavernas in Gaios. Super clean everywhere. Careful implemention of Corona protection rules by all of the staff (seems not to be relevant for the hotel owner). A lovely hotel for your Paxos vacation.
Well Done Paxos Beach Hotel
We have been fortunate to have stayed in a number of good hotels over the years - but if you can’t always shoot for the stars then you need to find those rare 3 star hotels that get the basics right, and then some. Paxos Beach Hotel falls into this category - Family run, clean rooms, friendly staff, good food, lovely setting (we had £100M boats moored opposite us). While getting the basics right should not be a high hurdle - but as we all know there are many with higher ratings who would look enviously at the Hotels track record in delivering good quality holidays for many years. For those who enjoy a “gourmet” experience (which we certainly do from time to time), then we found some excellent Taverna’s on the Island - much better than Corfu. This is not to suggest the Hotel falls short here, but it just sets out to serve its guests in a more relaxed manner. The Hotel also helped us rent a boat - and I’m very thankful to them given that it can be a little challenging to do this directly if you do not know the company. The boat gave us some independence as we are not the types to stay on campus by the pool for a week. All in all well done, and thank you.
A Greek Island retreat
A relaxed, friendly home from home hotel with lovely sea-view bungalows in an attractive garden overlooking the sea. Bed , breakfast and complementary dinner all included. Am easy walk into Gaios with bars, taverna and delightful gift shops. Highly recommended.
A Gem of a find. I can not fault this hotel
I am writing this review from the hotel on the final day of what has been a beautiful and relaxing holiday on the lovely island of Paxos. I have enjoyed a lovely break with my hubby and our two friends. This hotel is such a gem that I would quite like to keep it a secret. The setting is idyllic , beside the sea with gorgeous views. The hotel is well maintained and very clean. The staff are exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble and they are polite and friendly. Its a family run hotel and the staff seem happy. The food is lovely. Every night there are two or 3 choices of traditional Greek meals served as a buffet. Breakfasts are also buffet style with a good choice. We have already booked to return next year and have norhing but the highest praise for this quiet, tasteful friendly place. Linda S Hampshire UK.
