NEWEST & BEST HOTEL IN KALYMNOS!!

I have been visiting this island for many many years and I have tried them all.... This is by far the most modern and well equipped hotel on the island and worthy of its “high end reputation”. The rooms are new and clean !! The staff all wear appropriate and synchronised uniforms and the facilities are excellent when compared to anything else on the island. The location is quiet and offers some great food nearby and excellent cafes overlooking the waterfront . We very much enjoyed our stay and really relaxed in this fabulous hotel .

Stunning hotel

Had an amazing 7 nights stay at Hotel Zephyros. Hotels' decor is modern, bright and airy. The room was well equipped, bathroom was well sized and bed very comfortable. Only minus would be that bathroom had only one hook to hang towels. Breakfast was served at the beautiful bar area. It had all you could need: coffee, toast, bacon and eggs, pancakes and much more. You didn't need to eat anything else for hours. Staff was super friendly and fluent in english. They were always willing to help what ever you could think to ask. Our family of two will highly recommend this hotel at beautifull Kalymnos!

H Hotel Zephyros

Had an absolutely amazing stay at H Hotel Zephyros in Beautiful Kalymnos. Fantastic modern, clean bright airy rooms. I had a sea view room with balcony but the rock mountain view rooms are just as stunning. Beautiful breakfasts to set you up for the day. Fantastic staff that will help you any which way they can. No pool at Zephyros but you are more than welcome just a few steps across the road to H Hotel Kalypso to swim and enjoy a beer from their bar. Short stroll to beautiful restaurants and to the beaches and jetty for the €2 trip over to Telendos. I have only been home for one day after a 3 day trip home but already missing the beautiful island and people and of course the super comfortable bed in Zephyros. Plan to go back next year 😊👍

New Hotel

Brand new Hotel, opened last week, very modern interior decor in the beautiful colours of the Aegean, acqua & beige. The staff are extremely pleasant with good English conversation and cannot do enough for us. Breakfast is abundant, eggs any waway plus accompaniments of bacon, tomato etc. cereal, yoghurt and numerous savoury & sweet pastries. The sister hotel opposite has a lovely swimming pool for guests to use. A nice beverage bar adjoins the breakfast area. They have the best bathroom shower of any hotel in Greece. The bedroom mattress is wonderful and also fluffy pillows & towels. Television reception is excellent as well as wifi. Each bedroom has tea/coffee making facilities as well as refrigerator & in wardrobe safe. As this is a new hotel the standard is superior

Design is not enough

Nice, minimal design hotel, with happy colours and newly built, but: The balcony door won't lock. The "safe box" was not that safe, since it was loose and not secured against the wall in any way. The water from the shower was running into the room if not taken care of. The toiletries were not replaced when finished, but only when the hotel decided it was time to replace them. The room was comfortably and adequately furnished although there was no place for hanging dresses, since the wardrobe was not high enough. The cleaning was perfect and the room spotless. The big minus of H Hotel Zephyros is the so called "breakfast buffet", which consists of: toast bread, some cookies and/or cake, (very) hard (cold) boiled eggs, semi-fried eggs, sausages, sliced cheese and ham, marmalade, honey, butter portions, three dispensers with cereals, one thermos with coffee (occasionally cold), one thermos of orange squash, one plastic jar of cold water, one bowl with 5-6 fruits and a bowl with melon and/or watermelon. No greens, no tomatoes, no olives, no cucumber, no local cheese, no tea-water, no freshly baked bread, and sadly, not many alternatives for vegetarians, vegans, and guests with lactose and gluten intolerance. The tables were never set for breakfast and there are only two sets of salt & pepper that go from tables to table (if one know where to find them in the drawers). When it was busy you have to wait until the "buffet" was refilled. We would definitely stay at the H Zephyros Hotel again, but we'd choose to have breakfast at one of the local coffee shops or restaurants.
